Thanks for the review! The QX is borrowed from our hockey line but does stand for "quick strike." Our Evo line of products is designed for players who are looking for more control and a quick release which is why we adopted QX from our hockey side of the business. We have decided to stay away from numbering for the exact reason Greg described.
i guess its good to see not much has changed. i just picked up a new evo 5 for $67. either way its a big step up from the brine edge x that its replacing. im just a recreational player and the top of the head finally cracked.
I've found that it's actually a little different than the 5 (though it looks pretty much the same cosmetically). The sidewall bottom strut point is lower, more similar to the Noz. The way the sidewall is designed makes it look like it is higher though, really have to line it up.
couldn't agree more. In my opinion, the last few warrior/brine heads (I might be missing some) have been pretty bad. The burn and king both were heavy and just not good updates. Maverik has it the best with 3 offensive, an LSM and D head each getting good updates even though the originals were great the only thing they're missing is a good fo head the lock just doesn't seem to cut it. Speaking of fo heads the burn fo wasn't really a hit either. They didn't change anything from the evo 5 which is a pretty good head but they just slapped a new name and price on it. Also haven't had a new released line in a while which is disappointing seeing as how the burn and evo are their only offensive options disregarding the king as the burn and king are similarly designed heads
Without the throat lock, does it wobble? Ik on the 5 even with the throat lock the actual throat hole width was always wider than any shaft but a warrior one?
My ECD DNA Diamond Head is now arriving tomorrow, Friday the 8th of January 2021. I'm super hyped!!! I'm not sure what colors I should do with it though, any ideas?
I live in Arizona and just got this head bc I thought it was going to be stiff and I was playing wall ball mid day when it was about 110 outside and this thing was bending like the ghost 7
I’ve been debating between this head and the mirage 2 for a while which one should I get? I play at x most of the time, so what do you think would be the better choice
I’ve been looking for a head that can be used for a middie who also takes face offs a good amount. My team doesn’t have a fogo, so any middie who is good at face offs takes them. What head would’ve best for face offs and midfield because all mine have just warped/bent over time. Would the evo qx be a good choice?
the QX could just be roman/latin numbers, Q can be subbed out for D because D stands for Quingenti, so instead of using D they used Q. So QX = 510 Roman numerals came from latin words for the same numbers. D=500, D=Q, Q=500, X=10 Q+X=510

What should we review next?
you guys should do another this old lax head with something like the stx arrow
Would love to see the QX-D so both ends of the Evo line are covered
TANK 2.0
Would like to see the warp version of this tested
The Evo QX-D!!

The ads that warrior have made for this have been golden 💯🔥👍🏾
Not bad, not bad. Its no DNA Diamond release, but not bad
@ECD Lacrosse 🤣🤣🤣
Appreciate the kind words!
Gotta say I love the revamped outro
Thanks for noticing...and watching the whole video!
Ecd uplod schedule is carzy, excited for the spring!
Same here! Fingers crossed the 21 season is the best we have ever seen. Each game means more now

Good find !
I've always liked the Evo series but I dont know why they always come up short with sidewall holes.
I bought it today and I’m excited to use
Do you have an evo5? For comparison I’m thinking of getting one but only if it feels like an evo5

Good point! You can see that the more you look at the two side by side
Nice Vid Greg Might purchase this head. Thanks.
It's good. So is the mirage 2. Unbiased opinion
@@ECD Thanks
we think that's a great idea 👍
i think the qx came from their hockey line of sticks because they did have a warrior alpha qx stick
Maybe they will leave a comment to explain!? Probably not...
@@ECD just left a reply in the comments addressing the QX. Thanks for the review!
Warrior has been trending down for some time now. So many better products and companies out there these days

You should do a Reebok head one you like and what is your opinion on the Reebok shaft with the three wholes in it.
Ive had a ton of Reebok stuff over the years but I don't think they even make those anymore.
Can you guys do a stringing tutorial for some goalie heads like the stringking mk2g or the nemi 3
I will throw the idea out there! It seems to be a very popular request
Without the throat lock, does it wobble? Ik on the 5 even with the throat lock the actual throat hole width was always wider than any shaft but a warrior one?
It might, however it helps give more surface area for the screw to bite on.

School colors?
Or an ECD style head
Great way to start the weekend off ! I agree team colors

Sounds like you need a Flexform plastic! DNA ALL DAY
I’ve been debating between this head and the mirage 2 for a while which one should I get? I play at x most of the time, so what do you think would be the better choice
Our opinion might be a tad bias but we would pick the Mirage 2.0
probably mirage 2
Rate the whip 1 through 10 with 10 being the most whip and 1 being the lowest
This is a very middle of the road pocket so around a 5-6 here
Is this head good for like a 12u mid
Didn’t Tom schrieber do a vid with this?
Yeah, he is one of their athletes.
Could u guys review the new balance freeze 3
Just got them!

The weapon x was designed for the faceoff stay on player
Will you guys make a head like an optik 2.0 or epoch z one.
@Luke Myre I know but I like heads made for. Low pocket
They need a low pocket head. I have a rebel O and my low pocket doesn't have the best channel.
The Mirage 2.0 would be the most comparable. If is often associated with a mid pocket but that doesn't mean you can't get an insane low pocket in it.
@@ECD sweet thanks for the help
would u recommend adding the throat lock
All warrior heads have them?
I currently have the evo 4 do you recommend getting the 5 or the one that’s being reviewed in this video ?
If the head is still playable then I wouldn't see a reason to upgrade yet
the QX could just be roman/latin numbers, Q can be subbed out for D because D stands for Quingenti, so instead of using D they used Q. So QX = 510
Roman numerals came from latin words for the same numbers.
D=500, D=Q, Q=500, X=10
Q+X=510

Finally
What head do you want to see next?
It's like they put a bunch of numbers and letters in a hat a choose the name that way.
Haha whatever works. I'm sure it means something
