That's about it so why have the selections? Is it only so you can customize the Heart Rate Zones or what? Set different alarms? Or is it just strictly to monitor and save data by activity? If that's the case can you create custom activities like hiking a particular trail vs a different trail? What about RUN/WALK sessions?
Great video, thanks for doing it. Does this monitor have the ability to set a heart rate range that I want to stay within, with an alarm if I go above or below that range? Thank you,
You would need a fitness tracker like a Garmin, Apple Watch, Fit Bit or Suntuu (etc) watch to pair this strap with. Those devices can be set to alert you of HR Zone breach (among many other metrics). The purpose of the chest strap is to offer the most accurate collection of heart rate data...more so than the native capability of the watch style fitness monitors that use optical sensors vice EKG style sensors used in the Polar H9/H10.

It will show your HR but you have to twist your wrist just right to get it. Accuracy with the Fitbit is not so good when working out. Polar does need to give more information on the chest strap as far as how to use with phone, etc.

@@jerrymacias6223 Totally agree! What makes you say that?
@@SchuyFit I see that you have it in the background.
If i connect a H 10 with a GridXPro, which puls is calculated, if i make a training session on the gridxpro? H 10 or optical through the wrist?
Great review. For me real time heart rate is extremely important. I have been using Fitbit Charge 3. It has some lag time and does not give true real time HR. It will show your HR but you have to twist your wrist just right to get it. Accuracy with the Fitbit is not so good when working out. Polar does need to give more information on the chest strap as far as how to use with phone, etc.
Yeah, the fitbit isn't as accurate, you're going to struggle finding a super accurate wristband. Definitely a good move for a chest strap for accuracy, what type of training are you using it for?
@@SchuyFit Arobic exercise. While standing on a 6 inch foam balance pad I bounce a tennis ball between both hands. It works most of the core muscles, upper body and hands. It is very easy to get to and maintain a level that is considered cardio.

I got one as gift after being inactive for years but I need to know if it has real time heart rate display if I connect my Samsung watch with it if it can?
can you wear the strap around your arms for the H10??
Amazing review, I was wondering can we sync the data from Polar beat to Samsung Health app? Thank you!
Is there any way to get the H10 connected to an app that would speak your pulse out loud periodically? This would be helpful when running and you don't want to deal with a specialized (and expensive) watch. Your phone could just speak the pulse every minute, or when trigger conditions are reached.
Does it sync with my fitness pal/Fitbit Versa 3?
Do you need to have your phone with you at all times and/or what is the distance that your phone can be if for instance I am playing soccer
Wondering if this hrm would link up to a watch?

What size strap did you order? I am trying to decide between Small and Medium
Hello I have a question! Can I use this only with my ipad? I do not have any Polar products, but iam going to buy the H10. Thank you for your answer in advance
Thanks for your review!! I don't exercise (rowing & running) carrying my phone. Does the H10 RECORD all my exercise data then sync up with my phone (Polar Beat) when back in proximity? If not, is there a Polar product that does store the data then sync when back close to my phone? Thanks again for your review!
I would also like to know this? Can I leave my phone in the house while going for a run or not?
Hy!
Could you help me with the Polar H10 device? I need to know if I can create a setting in any application that alerts me when my heart rate is outside a certain range (not necessarily a zone). So, I set the range myself, and it notifies me if I'm outside of it.
Hi, does the chest strap work with the series 6 Apple Watch ? thank you
Yep! The Polar h10 should have no problems connecting with the apple watch. Are you considering buying one?
@@SchuyFit does the app show, real time tracking, like the heart rate? and does it allow you to set up heart rate alerts on the phone?
I need it to track tachycardia. Would this be it? I bought it but it’s either dead or?? I can’t even get it to Work. But after Watching the video I think it’s more for workouts. Thoughts?
Great video!! Thanks.. :) I’m confused between buying this vs the Apple watch se. The goal is just heart rate and fitness tracking. Just a bit worried if the strap would be comfortable around my chest or will it slide down every now and again? Did you experience any such inconvenience in that regard Sir?
I did not! The strap is super comfortable and works great. If it's just for the workout heart rate data, go with the polar! If you want other data whoop may be a better option.
@@SchuyFit Thank you so much for your super swift response!! Keep up the good work Sir! :)
I need a help. Why I don’t have ekg in my app.. just HF AND FETFIT .. thanx
is it possible to display current data on some wrist band ?
Hi brothers can i use it for my horse to check the heart rate after training pls advice

am i wearing it too tight or not tight enough
Is it possible to pair the H10 with Samsung Health ?
Does it need to be connect to your cell phone the entire time or will it update when get back in proximity? For example, if you wear it during a martial arts class will all the data still be collected?
I can make it warn me if I surpass or fall below a certain heart rate? I mean, I cannot always look at my phone when I am running.
Did you try using the suana, FOR SCIENCE? 😮😊
Can I use the app for team training? If we have multiple straps?
Does it show history from previous work outs ?
Does the polar h10 sync up with the apple health app?
Is there a fitness tracker that I can wear on my wrist that will connect to this chest strap monitor and beep at me signaling when my HR reaches a top and bottom end that I set for my interval workouts?
Does this work with the under Armour mapmyrun app?
Is the app included/free with the sensor? Does the app allow for setting specific heart rate training zones?
Yes
Can the H10 track the VO2 Max after an Elliptical cross trainer workout?
Does the app have a setting for boxing?
Hi, can you please tell me if this Polar H10 can sync data with Huawei Health App? Best regards
Can you connect it to a coros watch ??
Good review! I prefer to use this along with a Polar Ignite fitness watch. I like all of the options!
That's a great tip! How do you like the Polar Ignite?
I have to look into this to use it along with my Vantage V. I swim so using the app on phone is a pain in daylight. But I can control it from my Apple watch 6. I use the other polar app for the watch ad well. I need to just use watch, then is it automatic?
do you dry off the strap after wetting? can ou download data?
What app are you using? Polar beet or flow?
Hi, thanks for the video! Does Polar H10 measure running dynamics like vertical oscillation, ground contact time, stride length?
No.
Does it have an alarm or warning if u get past your max heart rate?
any chance of giving us a clue on where to find the correct APP? I can't find the one you are using... Polar Beat app does not track or at least i can't get it to track. please help.
Do you need wifi or cell phone data to be able to use the app? I want to use the monitor and have the app open at the same time and track my rowing pace but I don’t have wifi will it still work?
Is there not a watch I can pair with this so I can keep track of my HR in real time?
Can you measure hrv with this without a watch??
Hi can I set max heart rate alert?
Would it slip off during long runs?
Can i connect this with my vivoactiv 4?
Hii, awesome video ! Do you know If the app has the option to track a jump rope workout ?
Greetings from Peru btw
It does not! You could put it under aerobics or other. The type is really for your reference and not much else.
And I love Peru! I’ll be heading to Machu Picchu soon
Do you have to run with your phone? Or will it store and dump data?
What is battery time on this HR monitor? Should it be disconnected when not in use, to save battery?
400 hrs. Bluetooth will disconnect automatically based on enough separation from the source.
