Carol’s Queen of England parodies were absolutely hilarious. My favorite part of these sketches was when she would have her meltdowns. 😂😂
It's Queen of England-Not Queen of the England-And in English, the real spelling of the word"favorite"is"favourite"-Cheers mate!
Did no one tell her Phillip wasn't King tho?😅
Stick it in your ear!!!
Nothing better than these classic shows. RIP Harvey and Tim.
And Queen Elizabeth II
“Stinky you saAay?!” 🤣👌👑
Comedy gold!!! Carol, Harvey, Tim & Maggie Smith were great!!! 👍👍🤣😂
No matter how many times I see this,, I cry laughing every time she accidentally shouts "stinky" into the microphone.
My absolute favorite skit…!!!!! Look at Maggie Smith’s LEGS!!!! Has THAT much TIME passed?!!! Oh my!
🤣🤣🤣 oh I just love carol burnett play queen Elizabeth 2
I love her impression of Queen Elizabeth, (RIP), and I particularly liked the skit where the qeen and king consort were coming back with time conway as the guard at the gate. Love it when she lost her cool and called him a hollowed out littl creep. Wish we had a tv show as funny as hers again. That was true entertainment.
I wonder if the Queen ever saw these skits. If so, I hope she enjoyed them as much as we do!
That's young Maggie Smith there , 33 years old .
had to look twice to see that one, Would never have thought she would do something like that as it's a far cry from her Harry Potter and Downton Abbey roles 😅
She was born in 1934, so she would've been closer to 40 at this point.
@@sstavsky You're exactly right , this is from '75 , so she indeed was 40 . Looked it up too hastily , IMBD Maggie Smith Carol Burnett Show ('67) , the show started in '67... 🙈
Good show good show , old chap👌
@@Wrecker3D You should watch Maggie in Travels With My Aunt from 1972.
She is absolutely outrageous! She's in Sister Act 1 & 2, First Wives Club, Hook and Death on the Nile.
She was in a lot of movies since the 60s, I think. Good thing we can Google and watch almost anything now.
I think I'll find one of Maggie's movies and enjoy a few laughs. 🍿 🥤😉
Amazing! I didn’t realize it!
I never missed The Carol Burnett Show!
I just wonder if Queen Elizabeth II ever watched Carol’s impersonation of her on television when this was aired and why she would have thought of it.
I was wondering the same thing.
She would have laughed her royal socks off!
One of the best! Im sure the Queen would have found it very funny..
She had a great sense of humor.
You mean the Queen had a great sense of"humour",as the real English spelling really is!
I remember this episode. One of the funniest. 😂😂😂
This is my favorite sketch they ever did. So happy I finally found it!
I never saw this one...so funny!
You mean this is your"favourite"sketch,as the real English spelling really is!
I hope the wonderfully painted scenery was saved by someone!!!!
Respectfully portraying the former Queen of England...🙏🕊🙏🕊🙏🕊🙏
“Save up to do it again”
thats a really good impression
Hello Sailor! LOL
Amazing! Maggie Smith! This show is a real gem!
Dame Maggie is such a mistress of delivery. The way she just casually slips in that " 'Ello Sailor" gets me every time. Genius.
The dowager was a wild thing in her young days.
This will be covered in a Downton Abbey flashback scene.
Well. McGonagall was quite a lovely lady in her youth before she was the Countess of Grantham.
'Ello sailor! Classic!
The reference to Huntz Hall made me smile and now I'm remembering those b&w movies on TV Sunday mornings in the 70s and 80s when I was a kid ... although I preferred the Abbott + Costello films over The East Side Kids (aka The Dead End Kids or The Bowery Boys) any day.
Also, Maggie saying "Hello, Sailor" to Harvey was great. As if royalty would ever have been addressed so casually and flippantly, LOL.
The "Sailor" would have been her punter quite a few times. As there was a tone of recognition in her greeting.
@@pressureworks That's right, as if they may have had a little tryst once.
@@eduardo_corrochio not just once! Still on a regular basis!
@@pressureworks Love it :D
@@pressureworks - I took it as being the way she'd typically greet ANY sailor in uniform.
My gawd I love this skit. Her hand wave just absolutely kills me!!😂😂As a young girl I always imagined Elizabeth and Philip watching this together, laughing their butts off.😂To this day? I still wonder if they actually ever watched it and if they did? Did they like it? Heaven knows those two loved a good laugh, and were reportedly great sports when it came to a good ol fashion roast. Timeless, this skit never gets old!!
Long live The King 🤴🙌🙌
Sudbury, Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦 ✌️
Carol Burnette and Lucille Ball are PHENOMENAL!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
That's Maggie Smith. You know, the Dowager Countess from _Downton Abbey_ .
I was just commenting on Carol and Lucy's friendship. I did not know who the other lady was in the sketch. Nobody compares to Lucy and Carol.
@@maddyhayes617 You absolutely need to watch Carol with Julie Andrews! They did several tv specials and performed at Carnegie Hall and the Lincoln Center.
They are amazing together.
Remember how you been saving up to do it again? - lost it there 😂🤣
OMG I've been searching for this one forever! Thank you for uploading it on the Official channel.
Ive been dying to find this clip for so long!!! Amaaaaaaazing
Who would believe that's the same lady that played on Sister Act Harry Potter and Dalton Abbey. I thought her face looked awfully familiar she had a badass body damn she was smoking
Hello, Sailor! 😂😂😂
Love this clip and Maggie Smith in Harry Potter movies. So funny.
The accent is on point tho 😂😂
Long Live the Queen!!!
RIP. Your beloved ❤️ queen!!!!🙏🙏🙏
Why RIP??? She's alive ig
When ever Carlos mimics Queen I fel in love specially on her voice 😍
Il loved this show 💖💖💖💖
Carol did a respectable job immitating an English accent. Perhaps because she spent so much time with her friend Julie Andrews
During the coverage of the Queen's death I was listening to the speech she made where she pledged her life to the country's service. I was thinking "gee, Carol really nailed her voice."
@@olivegreenpants7153So did I! As someone who did not hear the Queens speeches on a regular basis it was quite eerie to hear Carol Burnett‘s voice come out of Queen Elizabeth 😂
How Harvey moves his legs. He is a genius.
Wonderful Maggie Smith…I never knew she was so beautiful!!!❤
Carol Burnett played the best Queen Elizabeth 👑
Fantastic Comedy.
Mr. Corman, I love you.❤
Loved it! Prince Phillip maybe wished he was as handsome as Harvey (RIP).
I was just thinking that LOL.
Jolly good and bloody good,as they say in England!
Happy Saturday!
Classic!
LOL she sounds like Princess Margaret
Well done.
I didn't know "hero" had 5 syllables.
Hilarious 😂😆
This is my absolute favorite sketch with Carol and Maggie. Gwendelspiere Beaugrough.. what a tart!
Anyone know how much the Queen liked those skits or if she ever saw them?
8:19 😂
thinking that Queen Elizabeth would've smacked Prince Harry's and Prince William's heads together like a scene from the 3 stooges from what Prince Harrys' book says
ah cette humour anglais, j'adore 🤩😄
Maggie Smiths legs are amazing.
Maggie smith is so good at comedy.
Maggie Smith stole this skit. She was awesome.
😂
😂 Oh my lord
MAGGIE SMITH 😮😮😮 I AM OBSESSED
Omg Maggie Smith
"...the names of ships have reflected the proud heritage of the sea. Now, you have your Mayflower. You have your Yankee Clipper. You have your Constitution and your Enterprise. There is not a Stinky in that bunch!"
It's odd that "the Queen" (writers) chose to list mostly American ships. The list could have included names of noble British ships that many Americans would recognize: Golden Hind, Challenger, Dreadnought, Hood, and if the sketch were performed in recent years ... ahh ... hmm ... Boaty McBoatface. 🙄
But the performances were grand!
I think most of the "colonists" watching Carol would not have been familiar with the names of the British ships.
@@annarodriguez9868 Familiar with all of them except the Golden Hind. Must been in my memory somewhere since because I thought of it when I spotted one in a woody area by a hospital. Such a beautiful animal I was hoping nothing happen to her in the suburban environment, then a few years later I saw her with her calf.
@@jrt818 Same here. The name Challenger reminds me of the space shuttle tragedy and forgot about the British ship.
Is she the Professor in Harry Potter?
Yes!
She was also Mother Superior in Sister Act!
@@michaellarenee4856 how could I forget Sister Act?🤦♀️ and I just remembered the movie Hook also
@@aquatadevore9335 I did not ever watch Hook. Wasn't that with Robin Williams?
@@michaellarenee4856 yes, I know a lot of people think it's underrated, but I enjoy it, just like Waterworld, a lot of dislikes but it's 1 of my favorite movies
Maggie Smith!
😅😂🤣
She sounds more like princess Margaret
When Minerva McGonagall was hot. 🔥
This man is completely hollow
Anyone else here because of MJ? 😂😂
😂😂😂 yeah ofc
@@laveran64 HAHAH 🤣 “You’re voice is very irritating, you sound like Carol Burnett” 😂 I was like I gotta see who this is , and yup she did sound like CB.
Ugh...
I love her, I'm subscribed and normally I would have no issue . However, since the queen has only been laid to rest days it seems in bad taste with lack of respect for a life lost.
No disrespect. The Queen had a wonderful sense of humour and would have loved this. She loved to lighten situations and for everyone to carry on.
The Queen was an icon. There’s a reason why the show was spoofing QEII and no other monarch. Posting this was an affectionate remembrance of her influence.
Omg Maggie Smith!!!
8:49 😂
