Yeah the in game campaign was rather lacking, reimagining the story of wildlands in a live action show that picks up on this short movie would do the whole story so much needed justice.
Ghosts can be a general term for special operations units working in secret. Whether or not he was referring to Ghost Recon itself, or any SOF/CIA asset they would send, the line would make sense in different points of view.
If only high official and intelligence agency know about the existence, the dea shouldnt know that, even if he is a high ranking in Dea. It will make sense if you compare to CIA SAD, although the unit is secret, but eveybody knows that theyre exist. Maybe everybody's awareness about ghosts unit in ghost recon world is like CIA SAD.

I musta did it 10 times over but never get board of exploring or screin arpund with sb and unidad jear and there :) theres alot to enjoy with in the game aside from the story hell i even like flying up in the mountans and do some cliff jumping ride dirt bikes or off road :) lots of fun things await

finished the game like 6 times, the actors in this were interesting choices. i'm assuming when they made this, the characters weren't fully fleshed out yet but damn they're different

Ima J Walker honestly I hope it deals with the Russian version of the ghosts (from the the Clancyverse) dealing with some Russian stuff. I love the ghosts but I really would like some other narratives in gaming
I'm hoping it's set somewhere in Asia, not that I don't love battling Russians, because Russians are cool as fuck, and certainly formidable, but I feel like an Asian setting would be something fresh, and offers a ton of different environments, and some really unique ones as well, depending on what country it's in.
Am playing Wildlands now daily for at least 4 weeks or so and am loving it, SP and CO-OP. That said, this movie does give much more insight to its story. Although it does surprice me because till now i never did get any news about having so save Ricky in the game. So, hopefully i will meet a mission one day in the game were i have to save him. Probably at the end (?). All in all, great movie. Read a lot of negative comments about it, but personally i really liked it. Short, lots of action and more insight to the overall game story. Leon
Hahaha, no, still not finished the story mode. And i play almost daily for at least 2 hours or so. Do so with friends in co-op mode and have to say that it is a bit hard to follow the story itself. Mostly because my friends are not in to following a story in a game, so they talk through cutscenes etc. Still, i try to follow it. Leon
Yes, i know. But i am playing coop with a few friends. And as soon as cutscenes start, they start talking through it, so i miss most of the story this way. A shame, but can't be helped because coop is much fun.
Okay, I'm gonna be that guy that nitpicks. Two small things. First, why did the drone the CIA was using look like Nomad's SHORT RANGE quad-rotor? Was the stock footage of Predator drones laggy or something? And second, how/why does Sandoval know about the Ghosts? The ending line ("Do you believe in Ghosts?") is cool and all, but wouldn't it make more sense for Bowman to say that? Sandoval is DEA, there's no conceivable reason he should know about an elite US Army black-ops unit that doesn't officially exist. Bowman would, and already does if the chopper ride in the game's intro is any indication, as she already knows Sam Fisher and the Echelons from previous ops they worked together when she was using a different name. All-in-all, this is a good short film though. Production value is nice, acting is solid, and it serves as a good prologue to the game and humanized Sandoval a lot more. The drone and who spoke the ending line were just the two moments that made me pause and go "wait, wuh?"
Pretty good film, a little bit more in depth version of the initial cutscene. I just killed nidia. Time to take down yayo and unlock the second ending! 10/10 game
