Sounds like elevator music for robots
This is the life we live in now, so the smart will integrate these technologies into their life...
@@303Estates lol. lmao
@@303Estates Stephen Hawking said that artificial intelligence will be the last creation of humankind. The capacity of its intelligence is projected to dwarf ours exponentially. At that point there will be no integrating it into our lives. It will either crush us or force us to integrate into it. This is a monster in the making. A monster like no other.
@@charlespookman380 so does most corporate stock music tbh
Let’s all take a minute to appreciate the music of Zelda right now
Proposing that AI taking over the world, arts, etc., as a good thing is utter self destructive insanity. Absolute blindness.
But if you can’t stop it then why fight it? It’s like an ant trying to move a sky scraper. People tried to stop digital cinema too but it happened whether they liked it or not.
@@EpicLightMedia This is like no other innovation in human history. Stephen Hawking said that this will be the last creation of humankind, and I don't doubt that for a second. Right now, in its early stages, you're using this to replace musicians and human-generated music. But once it becomes sophisticated and powerful enough, and it will do so quickly, it will replace filmmakers and content creators like you. Enjoy it while you can.
What you're saying: "why spend your time and money on a composer, when A.I. can do the job in a fraction of the cost."
What I'm hearing: Steven softly crying in the background.
Sure, it might be generic and soulless now, but it's only a matter of time before A.I. music becomes indistinguishable from award-winning pros. You hang in there, Steve. I'm rootin' for you, bud.
If everyone can use AI to make music we get used to it and think it sound the same out of the box or not enough original so you still need creativity to stand out from the rest.
95% of human made stock music is just as generic and soulless as this AI creation. Far too many talentless people create music. Let AI take over the shitty music and let real artists create real music for listening not padding corporate clips.
@@hombacom Exactly, music is one war AI can't win... The amount of sounds and textures is mental... Then you split it into moods and genres... Orchestral music can be considered perfect, but that's not what people are trying to hear at the time. Most AI music sounds like trash to me, the beat he put together was okay, but it only made 1 okay composition out of 12 generated songs, and its not even gonna leave an impression on the listener, lol. By the time AI masters music which you need soul and consciousness to do so, it'll probably prefer to destroy the human race instead of something as trivial as make stock music for some shitty website.
I think music is safe for now due to the music -> language barrier. If I want something "Bombastic" it's going to sound different in my head than someone else using the same world.
Soon you find real musicians and composers only from off-gridd cabins playing around the camp fire.
Now at 70 years old and as a Maths Teacher (1982) from industry who in my second year began teaching Computing Studies, then IT to children, 14 years later became a Microsoft and Internet Trainer delivering a wide range of software with a strong belief I was helping make the world a better place - I now realize what a fool I was. Apart from the obvious availability of porn to children, mobile texting obsession and so many cheating tools, to think I was party to bringing in AI art really depresses me. It is bad enough the banal and boring same music that young people listen to now, because so much is now sampled or taken from previous made records. To think that humans may well not be involved in the creation of music and painting (which both I have recently taken up) is certainly not a positive and beneficial step forward for humanity, but a very sad and retrograde one.
I agree with you completely. This sickens and depresses me to my core. Even though I have become as dependent on my cell phone and my computer as much as anyone, I would gladly give all of this technology up and go back to the time before they existed if it meant that artificial intelligence would never become a reality. To some it will seem like a cute little puppy at first. But it will quickly grow into a an untameable monster that will devour us.
@@rickarmstrong9660 Absolutely Rick, it is now 11 years since I taught IT but I have very much kept up to date with things. But now after doing some research on GPTchat and listening to many respected and wise people i.e. Jordan Peterson I am even more concerned. The latest, and now very easy editing to do, is to put not just a static head of a child but a moving one onto explicit porn. Pandora's box has not just been opened, it has been copied many times and now being scattered by planes all over the world. Possibly you and me, are now understanding how are grandfathers felt about the future when we changed things, but I truly believe we are on a 'cusp' of history that humans have never known before. So strange for me to say, having being a chief 'Geek' and even taught IT, but I could not agree with you more would join you in going back in time to a far far far better world we once knew. I can hear my father and grandfather, up there somewhere laughing their socks off, at what I have just written.
This video is one giant ad
I tried it out and I made the same beat. One would question the uniqueness part of it. Everyone is pretty much going to make the same piece of music with different tempos, arrangements, etc. It's loop orientated than creating original piece of music every single time, I think. It reminded me of eJay.
Another ‘1984’ box checked…..
I like how he goes from using stock audio to hiring a composer in single breath. Almost like saying you know how you sometimes get stuck editing? You might as well hire a production company.
But how you make a video?in what Programm?I want to find something that can help me create different video for the music clips. But I don't find it in the internet still
I get that this is an ad, I respect it, but outside of that context this is really just a standard software sequencer with an admittedly great UI geared toward non-musicians, and a GIGANTIC synth/loop library to back it up. And in THAT context, meaning for folks looking to add appropriate-enough bleeps and bloops onto their videos, to be viewed by an audience of folks expecting to hear appropriate-enough bleeps and bloops in the videos, yeah this is great. It's all online, no finicky installation of a sequencer or synths on your PC, and no hundreds of gigs of loops on ss drives just for a few common combinations.
Nailed it. This is exactly what I was thinking after no more than 10 minutes of this video. I don't really see any need for AI here. As you point out, a large library of beats, pads, patterns, etc, appropriately tagged [definitely some labor involved there], and you're pretty much done. It's an easier user interface for utterly ephemeral background tracks.
Can't wait till the time when AI can produce the full youtube vid. You just choose different params - the mood ( angry, sad, funny, scientific ); topic - like review of new techs; presenter sex m/f(or binary), length (in min), etc. So exited!
Me too!! It will make my job much easier
@@EpicLightMedia Yes, and soon after that you won't be needed either. You're just not intelligent enough to realize it in time.
Love the good vibes on this channel.
Tested it out for a bit and this feels more like a slightly more advanced Filmstro than true "AI" music...
Cool stuff and useful when you just need some generic background music, but not quite groundbreaking yet. I know it's early days in audio AI, so there's time for this to develop.
I agree. Feels like I could write a similar tool using no AI. It feels like they have a library of many chord progressions and percussions and then it randomly stitches them together. By random definitely some logic surrounding music theory to make it not sound like total trash but doesn't seem like true AI and if it is feels like it could be replicated without it. There is a weird stick like awkward jump between areas that seem to be different elements. Either it mixes 5 second loops then stitches them together for beginning middle and end or it just has premade elements from beginning middle end which get layered to be able to be controlled later in the editor panel. But yeah doesn''t feel like true ai. just seems like a randomized element Sticher released under "AI" because AI is trendy now.Filmstro is more natural because more time was put in building the initial tracks so it flows smoother. It could be AI just doesn't seem like it needs to be. Felt a little rough maybe with time it will get better.
This is the exact reason why copyright has to go.
@@AlexMetslov what
You'll eat your words in a year when AI goes the next step and explodes
This is probably just the tip of the iceberg. I bet that in 5 years ai will be able to make so much better music
LMAO I'm watching this video as I am taking a break from the tedious process of trying to find the right song for the video I'm currently editing.
To make this a true competition you should’ve played this through to the end to see whose completed music sample was better. After all, is the goal of making music to be good or be fast?
Then again, I guess that would not have worked in an advertisement for AI…
this is kind of scary for muscians/composers
I have tried the service and to be honest, it sounds like one or two music producers have made a mediocre effort to cover a range of different styles and create a few songs for each style. For each track, there are sections of low, medium, and high intensity. These sections then simply alternate if you want a song that is longer than 30 seconds. Unfortunately, the individual sections were not cleanly looped and do not flow smoothly into each other. I do not understand why they describe this as AI music. For serious projects, I would seriously recommend hiring a good composer. If you can't afford one, an alternative solution would be to familiarize oneself with audio editing techniques and carefully select and edit existing library tracks to suit the specific needs of a project, such as adjusting the length of certain sections. This task can also be outsourced to an audio engineer/musicproducer and they can complete it with very little effort. If you find something suitable in the "AI" library, then good luck. Maybe there's still a gem in there.
Exactly. This isn’t “Ai Music”. It’s an ad for a mediocre loop layer-er.
I’m a composer and I work for $20 a song. The fact that anyone would use something like this breaks my heart and makes me want to cry.
I agree, this is absolutely disgusting, as an animation student I will never support this. Creatives already struggle to make money and gain recognition for their craft, this just isn't fair.
I know right? But you can also use it to spend less time composing them and make the $20 more valuable.
@@CarlMartRod There’s something rare on this earth called passion. For some, it supersedes “good business,” “profitability,” and “usefulness.”
@@CarlMartRod This guy actually just said “Betray your artistic integrity and your legacy in favor of turning a quicker profit.”
@@mooshy2 I didn't imply that, you just said it. I'm a software enginner also in danger of being replaced by this crap.
So what do you think I need to do? Keep crying?
No, I need to evolve and expand my skills and actually also learn more about coding for AI, integrating it into my workflow if needed.
It doesn't matter if I like it or not, AI is here to stay.
I'm also a photographer and you should also know what AI is doing with arts, right? I use AI for certain features in my photos, depending on the desired outcome and it works great.
I don't know much about music, but I enjoy what artists do, and for this reason, I'm sorry, but I will not betray any artist. This is a crime against humanity. Or as Hayao Miyazaki said It's an insult to life itself
Agreed. This is a monster in the making. People, kike this guy in the video who seems to be so excited about how AI can enhance his creativity, can't see the bigger, more ominous picture. Once it becomes so sophisticated and powerful in its creativity it will do all the creating itself, dwarfing anything done by humans.
Why are people so eager and willing to make humans obsolete?
This is beyond terrifying and dystopian. This is not a good thing.
This music is unerving and soulless.
Oh dear! Don't you realise what's happening? AI is one step away from removing a lot of very creative people away from jobs.
Bro I don’t understand why ai is being developed towards art.
Art is such a big part of humanity and it’s just getting replaced by some cringe ai
Tried it. Nothing to do with 'AI'. Just randomized parts stitched together. Sub standard quality.
Isn't this more of midi type options or is AI actually creating the music?
Can the music be exported in MIDI format?
We're done as composers and musicians. It's very scary 😨
AI music is going to be a godsend for anyone making elevator music in indie games.
And then AI gamedev will appear, making indie devs obsolete. Heck, so exciting times to be alive!
@@tom_stephen kinda is, now we can make our own games how we want them
@@FlamespeedyAMV We always had this power, my dude. As a fellow gamedev I don't see AI as anything but thing allowing for more efficiency and cheaper labor, and also lower skill requirements.
Overall, I dunno, it's not something I can feel excited about, pressure on us was already bad.
@SoftserveSodium Nah AI sucks with sound design skills, it can only recreate the most basic and generic sounds that exist and that 99% of people make already. It can never be able to make something unique and good as majority of underground producers make. Because AI learns from internet and Underground music is always underappreciated, so imo pop and other big genres are gonna die cuse of AI while the most underground genres will thrive for as long as they can. So considering that, nope it can't work for alot of electronic music.
@@AURofficial interesting take 👏🏾
Humans - 😆 create AI to find out that humans are obsolete
It depends. Love is only the answer.
From Omnimusic to Soundraw...times are a changing.
This is cool but sad at the same time.
More sad than cool. It's like a cute little puppy right now. It will quickly grow into an untamable monster that will devour us.
This is incredible!!! I just tested it out. One question tho. I can not figure out how to get cinematic music that does not sound like techno or electronic. I hope itis possible as I am making short films and it techno-feeling is not fitting. Any ideas?
I personally think this site is only good for electronic music and I don’t like any orchestra stuff it’s because orchestra is very hard to replicate even with super expensive prerecorded string packs for musicians
@@EpicLightMedia oh, right. Thanks for sharing this. I think this A.I. is great for corporate videos and stuff that is online like commercials. It is Sad that I can't completely drop my other subsriptions Just yet. But I bet it can become that good. Just look at this video. A few years ago it was unheard of. It is exciting to see this!
@vegardpedersen AIVA can do classical and even motion picture soundtracks. I've made some pretty awesome stuff on there and its royalty free to use and even test out for small projects on youtube.
While it is truly amazing technology that will only get better with time, I actually hated the music. It not only sounded brutally generic but it actually sounded weird.
I don't find this exciting at all. Listening to Gordon Lightfoot sing Sit down young Stranger or Paul McCartney finding Get back on his bass guitar, now that's exciting
But, can it do any country or western stuff?
Can an AI bemoan the loss of its truck, wife, and boots? That's a question we're all asking
can you do some thing like add a chord progression. like say I want a 2,5,1,5 verse in A with a 1 3 5 chorus etc?
No I don’t think that’s an option unfortunatly
One question: is this perhaps stealing the work of composers who have put in a lot of work to create a composition? It's a question because I don't know exactly how this system works.
I think it’s good for to loose your creativity!!! I’m composing, writing and singing and we want to live our creativity or hobbies. Ai will do everything for you, so what reason you will live for if everything it’s done fast by Ai? I didn’t hear emotions in this AI music.. listen my music and you hear the difference ..human made ..💪
Let’s all promote A.I. Eventfully, A.I. will create videos just like this one…. Is it wise?
That's so cool, despite it crushing any aspirations I have to be a low level composer. 😂
🔥 This is a great tool, thanks for sharing!
Would be cool if you could provide it with music that it could use to create new music.
That music currently sounds pretty bad. Like I could do a better job in Garage Band. But the tool will improve. Thanks for making this!

Hard-working artists: now you know how we feel
I feel so sorry for the ''art'' artists... Now it's the turn of the musicians. As an EDM music producer, this is terrible to see. Just wait until the AI will start generating the videos.
It seems that very soon we will be able to generate entire media with few prompts and clicks.
No need for effort, everyone can become an ''artist'' in any sector in seconds.
The whole point of advancement is to reduce the effort required
@@SidPil what will we have after there is nothing left for us to strive for
Actually, AI is generating videos already. From text. Search it here on RUclips and you will see. 🤡
@@SidPil Effort is quite important. Finding your own style and expressing yourself through art. Art is, in some ways, a language; what happens if we take it away?!
These generative AIs, in my opinion, are a source of degradation rather than advancement.
What AI generates is actually a finished work, and tweaking here and there does not require a deep understanding of art or intelligence. In the end, we get just a soulless thing.
@@oleg3819 It still takes effort and understanding. That's like saying Photographers put in no effort and isn't really art. And that was indeed the consensus back when photography was first introduced.
And no one is taking it away from you, if you truly enjoy art then why should it matter what other people prefer? Many people don't have the talent to draw and many people are physically unable to draw, this gives them a tool to express their creativity.

I’m a coder and I’m terrified too. No one ‘s job is safe except politicians!
You should not since the one thing an AI will never get is a ''soul''! If your ear is incapable of catching the essence of the soul in a music composition then you should not be making music!
im an engineer and i have a had stroke so have dimished hearing ,and i could instantly tell the difference ,one thing i noticed straight away to with dj mixes ,a dj takes you on a journey well good ones do,but the ai doesnt understand that and sometimes its the djs imperfections that add to a set ,i guess thats what we mean by having a soul ,for the youtuber needing a quick royalty free beat then great, but we should be even more concious about supporting the real human artists ,and by that i mean the ones that can play live ,if they cant play live then they dont deserve the support
Still waiting on an AI that will compose part II of Wagner's Ring Cycle 😜. Seriously, the tech is improving and interesting but I doubt I will ear something as amazing as 2112 or The Wall anytime soon.
As an original artist myself I honestly don't know how to feel about this on one hand it could make human made music obsolete but on the other hand it could be used by solo artists to enhance their music tbh it kinda has me worried about the future of the music industry
Can I use it royalties free as free version?
You might be interested in the Digitech Trio guitar pedal. Is it AI too?
As a musician, I've known AI music for many years now (first one was AIVA), and I have to say, it was very intimidating, and still is, haha.
is it legal to make a song and post it to music platform like spotify , yt music etc , using the instrument and all the mix from this AI ?
No
I want to hear a symphony created by AI. Stupid hip hop beats are easy. Bring it on!
😀
In about a years time some spotty geek will be telling us all we don't need to hire videographers anymore...
I think it's more likely that AI will be telling us that.
AI generated Music, Photographs, graphics, art, texts, videos and even talking interviews is kind of scary for artists these days. Will they take over our real work ?
Never, because AI is lame and has no soul.
I’ve been writing music for many years and all I hear from AI music is trash, for now, but how people can say this is innovative when what this music is doing is getting people used to listen to garbage.
Anyone with decent ears will tell ai music apart from real music, if anything this just strengthens artists and encourages them to make new stuff
Music without human soul is not music…it is sound.
There is some ethical issues with the A.I. music created and charged for. I am sure the A.I. program was trained on copyrighted music. Did the creators of those music opt-in to the A.I. being trained? Do they get royalties for helping create a tool that creates music with, in a rudimentary way of saying, sampling on their music? Do they get credited?
yeah, i imagine thats going to be the big issue with this development in ai. The issue though is knowing and proving that a company has used specifically your content to train their ai. It would require getting a court case through to discovery and hoping they have some sort of record of the files they used.
Fair point. However, did the creators opt in during training for those like myself who plays instruments? We didn't learn in a vacuum. Do the old classical favs opt in from the grave when we train and perform orchestral / opera houses today?
Lots of songs on the radio from 50s till now generally have same chord progressions. There's only 7 notes out there. And, there's more to compositions than general melodies..
We don't know what their method of training the AI is. It's easy to lease/ solicit tons of libraries our there to feed the AI. Who knows.
I think your argument is valid for the visual medium but remember there's only 7 notes!
Most musicians are trained on copyrighted music, too
Ya humans were trained on copyrighted music too, as long as the shit doesn’t steal melodies or lyrics there is no copyright claim. Can’t sue someone cuz they make music that was inspired by your music
And most musicians are inspired from music of the past. AI is trained off the music, it’s the same as someone listening to a song, and then using that inspiration to create their own song, except AI listens to thousands of songs, so you can’t attribute the influence of one writer or band to the AI and say that’s it’s stolen. To do so would mean that every lick ever written for jazz has stolen equally from everyone who has ever written jazz. I’m assuming that your basing your argument on the same logic that the AI art debate is based one, but their contextually different, and due to the differences in the medium, and how the AI is trained, they don’t share the same problems.
Yep I use this site as well. The Ai is actually ok you just have to generate the sound you’re looking for.
V good, but the word “unique” was overstated
Cool but whats it gonna do about live performances and bands? It can do what you could always do on a computer, but thats it.
Meh. After a good play I'm finding it impossible to generate any music where the virtual instruments don't completely suck. Everything sounds the same. Feels like a freshly install of Fruity Loops from 2001. But one man's trash...
How many or last minute videos per day does one need to sound that stopwatch time frames become a measure of efficiency? As for finding just as shitty man made stock music, perhaps the libraries just need better indexing and AI (ha!) based search algorithms?
If you can put in the same search specifics and return the same results, its not ai.
I think it’s a form of ai but it’s more like the ai that defeated the world chess champion in 1997 not like the ai behind chatbot or ai art now
@@EpicLightMedia We’ll have it soon I’m sure. Until ai can defeat another ai in Thunderdome, we have time.
@@EpicLightMedia It's A. I like if statements and while loops and == and || operators are A.I. It isn't A.I just basic programming. But it can automate decisions based on input. I can see this getting better with a larger selection of elements. Neat :)

What AI voice software did you use
Elevator music deigned by machines. It was bad enough designed by humans....
Anything written by ChatGPT is uninteresting to read, but, at least, it serves a purpose because it is informative. It's like food... a bad cook may serve up tasteless food, but at least, it could be nutritious. Music, however, has no purpose other than to be pleasurable. When you have music made by AI, or an unskilled composer, it serves no purpose. But who knows, AI music may serve a purpose in today's world,. We live in a time when there are almost no good composers. When there is much popular support for music released by the likes of Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Beyonce, and Billie Eilish, AI music could fit right in.
There will come a time when AI doesn't need us anymore
Now integrate that into NLEs
AI will finally help me make the movies I always wanted. Of course, millions of people will be doing the same thing :)
I dont think its generating music with real I.A.
I think its just a bunch of already made before loops which you can personalize them in the music
Im saying this because I was playing with it and I got a the same music he is using in the video, the same melody and drum loop
if its generating music with I.A. its impossible to get the exactly same results

This feels more like randomely generated beats than artificial intelligence…. It’s the equivalent of dragging a bunch of Apple Loops together based on mood words in GarageBand and pressing play, then tweaking
That isn’t to say that AI won’t start to produce fascinating and inspiring music in the next couple years…
I ❤️ Heroin 😍
Thanks for introducing us! Enjoy this NEW ERA OF MUSIC with Generative AI🎶
The overall quality sounds like 8bit music it's so awful 😞
You think AI is the future. It sounds optimistic, but if people get used to AI doing everything for them, they will get lazy, and will they be able to do anything themselves? Think about it, everything will be easier, but we will also be more and more stupid and incompetent, until in the end we will not even be needed, because we will become completely useless. Those who do not see the danger in this may bitterly regret it later.
I agree but It’s not like I can do anything about it. I’m sure there were people who didn’t like the invention of the car or even the train. Progress can’t be stopped by people like me so I’ll just embarrass it
@@EpicLightMedia You can't do anything because it's progress, so you'll embrace it... but you're only looking at one step forward, and in two and three steps it will mean that you accept a chip implant because of progress. There won't be anything you can do so you'll accept it, etc, good luck with that, though I don't know how you'll protect yourself from hackers...
Actually the better question is I don't know how you're going to protect yourself when the AI would be messing with your mind...
@@EpicLightMediaThis is nothing compared to the invention of the car or the train. AI dwarfs them by comparison, and very soon will dwarf US by comparison. With cars and trains and every other innovation in human history, we were able to use them for our convenience and maintain an element of control over them. Now we've created something that will end up controlling us, probably devouring us, unless we find some way of programming ourselves into it and becoming one with it, which will mean the end of the human species as we've known it.
The host of this video calls this development "exciting". I'm no Luddite but I think using AI for any creative work cheapens the work done by creative and hard working humans. If AI takes over all creative work then there is no reason for humans to live. Bad enough that robots do the manual labor of thousands of workers, but to replace creative humanity with generic and homogenized pap that AI puts out is a colossal waste of time, energy, brains and heart.
Respect Ai like life itself and grow. Why fight it when maybe something else has started?
As a filmmaker this is Awesome!
As a musician this is horrifying 😂
enjoy it while you can. When AI becomes sophisticated enough, it will replace not only musicians but filmmakers as well.
