You summarized my life. I was exactly like that when I was younger. Today, I do have a couple of friends, but I could have had a whole army of them if I had tried to talk, smile, and laugh with people in my teenage years. Instead, I was extremely quiet and menacing to people. If you are in school today, make it worth it. Make friends, study hard, so that in the future you can look back at yourself and not feel guilty because you chose the wrong path.
Not sure what your age is (I'm still in my 30's), but making friends isn't something that only happens in your teenage years. I know that my gender helps when interacting with strangers, but I also know men who are just as capable of actually forming new freindships quickly. What works for me may not work for everyone, but I attend a lot of art and music events (preferably
I’ve been drawing for less than a year now, and I am extremely happy with my progress, but I am afraid of hitting some kind of wall at some point. This video was hugely inspirational!
You will hit a wall. What you learn from it, it's what will drives you forward. Every artist hit a wall. Everybody. Think the wall, as a checkpoint. You have conquer the skill necessary to get there, but you will need to enhance your skills in order to get to the next checkpoint. Good Luck in your artistic journey.
great video man, i started drawing at 18 which is pretty late but i was always confident that hard and smart work always pays off, and now 4 years after i cant even believe that i improved as much as i did. and that considering that i took few breaks from drawing along the way.
that cycle of being trapped in beginner stage, its so exhausting. i know i have the potential to make insane artworks, its just something im not able to let go off and i dont know what to do
I'll be resurrecting my drawing journey in earnest once the year rolls over. And what you've accomplished may not have changed the world, but it changed YOUR world. And that's what matters.
But it's ok to talk with others it is nice to find people who have the same interests or hobbies. And honestly you didn't miss out on anything by not partying or having multiple partners.
Well actually its very impressive that you didn't drink or want girlfriends it's a great thing to focus on your career and you knew what was most important at the time. I applaud you for that.
I think from my experience, it would be setting a goal (an art goal to be specific), like what would you like to be able to draw? Realism? Portraits? Cartoons? Comics? From that, you can trace back the steps into getting there, hence the incentive to draw consistently, as well as purposely doing so.
This is a great video and I’m just starting my art arc but I’m some trouble and this is really motivational.
Exactly my problem. Thank you now i have a solution
Thank you, especially for the "don't try to be mysterious, it's cringe" bit, can't believe i was seriously considering that

Yeah, walls will be present for sure, detours and all. But it's all part of the journey. It's nice to know you're progressing and best of luck!

Thanks for sharing. We each take the path we’re meant to take. To be unoptimized is to be human.

That's much better and concise, should've thought of that. Haven't watched pirates of the Caribbean in a while, nonetheless, thanks.
Thank you

Drawing arc broke me a little.😂
pretty art
Very inspirational, do you have any tips to start drawing consistantly?
