Actually, there isn't anything called as Indian culture. We all are Tamils, Kannadigas, Marathi, Kashmiri, Bengalis, Telugu, Malayali, Punjabi, Rajasthani etc.... It is coz people are all.of.these separately, there is something called as "Indian". When India is not homogeneous , there can never be a single Indian culture. Punjabi bhangra or food may have gained prominence for chicken or curries but they are quintessentially Punjabi. Like how idli or dosai is quintessentially south of Indian Union. But spicy or gongurs spicy is quintessentially Andhara or Telugu culture. Gujarati add bit of jaggery in some their curries but not anywhere else. So, as a person of Indian Union origin, it is the responsibility to spread the actual perspective of Indian Union - we are a nation of nations, much like EU. We all don't speak hindi, much like we all don't speak Marathi or Gujarati or Telugu or Bengali or Tamil. We all don't get to experience other culture or in many cases won't even have a basic exposure to them, much like how we may not know a Congo or Indonesia or japenese or German culture & nuances. So,.if in rare cases we speak as person of Indian origin, we must be cognizant of above and not end up painting all of us with one brush and there by doing great injustice to uniqueness & diversity of all.
Please try to understand one thing our thirukkural poem is written be4 2500yrs, whis is not based on social life of human being even nowadays also, not insisting any religion, any God??? This book only the gift in all over the world. This is the fact, so we proud to tamizhiyan always.. Thirukkural is the God's gifted to the world..
