They look a lot like them too. At least the guy that plays Carlos does anyway. I saw an interview with the actual Carlos Castaño and the resemblance was uncanny
you canot undertand this scene .When the dea said lets go home alive it means a lot .javier pena knew they can not defeat castano hermanos .castano would kill them ,they were ruthless .This scene one of the greatest scene ever
Not really, at that range it doesn't really matter how ruthless you are, what matters is who shoots first and how many rounds can you put down range. All it takes is one bullet and you're dead, maybe the mercs would've won(probably after taking like 70-80% casualties) or maybe the police would have won.
City cops who were seasoned fighters against Pablo isn’t a being a pushover. Also, Castenos brothers were killing farmers and other noncombatants who just happened to interact with FARC. Just saying if anything Peña was preventing an unnecessary bloodbath because Carlos is a lunatic with no boundaries, and also protecting himself because it would of led into an investigation of how he made a deal with them
This guy also played Pablo in a colombian sitcom for 1 episode. Best Pablo ever played. This guy literally carries that same energy and charisma Pablo had.
It was, it is assumed that he is the son of Hugo Martínez (the colonel head of the search block), who had recently graduated as a second lieutenant of the police and was assigned to that unit (after that moment in the series they transfer him to intelligence and put him responsible for intercepting cartel communications)
Imagine how dark and funny that gun-snatch scene would be if the rookie cop shot him in the chest while the guy attempted to take his gun away, also I hate bullshits like this, stealing a gun ain't as easy as this.
That young cop was pointing gun at whom??? I guess he knew who the guys was so he have to think 100 times before shooting him... if he had shot him accidently also then he would get worse fate he ever have imagine by those siccarios
@@Miguelangelflix You think? imagine that out of fear, the cop accidentally jerked his finger and pulled the trigger, killing the thug, not out of purpose but on accident.
Ok do you even know who snatched the gun from the rookie? , no one in thei right state of mind would point a gun to a boss like Carlos castaño like that, for the gun snatched part is very possible since castaño had top military training in Israel.
Whoever casted the Castanos did a great job, both actors were terrific

One of the most intense scenes of the show not because of the stakes, but because of the acting and camera work
2:13 the disarm scene was my favorite part He was so smooth and quick

The cops were undertrained, out gunned, and lacked basic knowledge/resources to have a fighting chance. Against Castanoda Hermanos

Dude they were trained by isarel special forces those were just city cops not trained soldiers.
Those are search blog trained by usa

He did end up creating a fucking army a few years after
These brothers were in a lifelong rage after the commies killed their dad

He plays Pablo Escobar in American made with Tom cruise. Funniest version of Pablo!
This guy loves anything to do with cartels lmao
He plays Young Pablo in THE Colombian telenovela that tells the story of Pablo Escobar - haha
I think he was the young Pablo in patron de mal , if I’m wrong correct me but due to this comment it makes sense
Yeah hs the pablo from the vuida negra as well
@@JavierRamirez-pf2lyy es el mismo Pablo también en la serie “el barón” nacho montero
This is my favourite scene for the whole series.
Yair Klein would be proud of that slick move.

Y el de camiseta negra que está al volante interpreta a Gilberto Rodríguez en el cartel el origen
The pistol snatch was awesome even though I believe it’s revealed in the trailer

Mi escena favorita...la he visto mil veces 🥹😵💫
I remember Colonel and Los Pepes guy
Oiga pero bien bobos tambien no mostrarles la tarjeta de identificacion al principio.
Becouse the superior of theat not corupt cop, he know who are they.

It’s not totally implausible, but no one in the right mind would take that chance, unless there’s no other way out of the situation
