I was 5 over, my handicap is 3.4. But when I review courses I am not really trying to shooting a score, just more taking in the design and the surroundings etc
@@planetgolfreview Thanks for the reply. I've played that course a few times, it's spectacularly beautiful - lots of wildlife, too, including the occasional cobra. The first 3 holes can be a really demoralising start to a round. I played off the whites though, which enabled me to try taking the Tiger line drive over the tree at the 3rd hole.
Started par, birdie. The pro who I was playing with said to go straight and play up. I missed the fairway had to hack out and made bogey!! But yes wonderful course with some stunning views. My caddie who I played with in the Sri Lankan Open went in the trees down the right of the 10th and went into get the ball and run into a cobra and come running out LOL
@@planetgolfreview Ha ha, bet that was a shock for him LOL. I saw a cobra on the 10th too, coming out of a bush on the left of the fairway. On the tricky 17th I was also unknowingly in the same bunker as a small one, which my playing partners only told me when I came out of it. Even on the first 3 holes is very good though. I thought the course there was great, the best by some distance in Sri Lanka.
what did you shoot?
