I listened to 10,000 Volts in full recently and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it throughout. I felt like most of the songs had something worth listening to, and the highs (10,000 Volts, Up in the Sky, Back in my Arms Again) felt really high with no relative lows And that Sammy Hagar joke killed me
Every time I hear a song from 10,000 Volts on my Pandora, I think I'm listening to the same song over and over again. Criss Cat is the only solo album of Peter's that I own because it's the only one I like.
“Life of a stranger” is on the album because the producer didn’t like the idea that Ace had: covering The Outfield’s “Your love”. Now THAT would have been cool!! The producer gave that info in a Three sides of the coin interview. I wanted to punch my screen when I knew about the change of covers. Not only I’m a huge fan of The Outfield, but also the singer and leader had passed away recently. It would have been a nice homage
@ That’s a great way to put that. I think we can agree it’s definitely better than Cherry Medicine and Constantly Cute away, those two songs join the ranks of Dolls off Frehleys Comet for being the worst Ace songs.
I always liked the albums by Peter Criss, because they have nothing to do with the hardrock of the albums by his former band. This album by "Criss" is a very nice hardrock album, in my opinion. The sound is a little weird, but the songs are good, in my opinion - again. Luckily, I found the 5-track-EP-CD with two other "new" tracks ("The Cat" and "What You're Doin'") in a german record shop in '94. To make a long story even longer, I have to tell you about my opinion about Ace's new album......... sorry, I forgot the title of this mess....... oh, it must be "2 Volts" or something like that. Don't get me wrong, I am a huge fan of Ace Frehley, but his new album is a waste of plastic! Some songs are okay, but most of them are just throwaway tracks. Maybe he shouldn't have worked with this Steve-Brown-Guy - who knows. I'm glad that the album by CRISS won your ranking as well as mine! I will go and listen to "Out Of Control" now.

10,000 volts reminds me of revenge reels you in with one song to find out it's one of maybe two songs that are good 🤘🤘🤘
I agree this is Peter’s best solo album

“Who wrote that Sammy Hagar??? Belcher??? Dr Fukk you are on a roll😂😂😂😂😂😂
I agree .Mr..Ralph
Damn, Up In the Sky is one of the best songs on that album.
I agree 100% you think that.

@haydenmalesky2518 yep. We totally agree on that
Down with the Sun sounds like it could have been on a 70s KISS album.
Criss "Cat #1" vs. Ace Frehley "10,000 Volts".....both are solid rockers, but I give it to THE SPACE ACE!
“What a shitty album!” 😂😂😂😂
I agree that 10000 Volts isn’t a masterpiece. But I love a lot of tracks.
For me Ace wins 8-3.
Cheers from Germany 🇩🇪👍🤘🍻🎸🌍
Oh man? That's a tough one. I don't know? If it were album covers? Peter would smoke Ace on that. Most definitely. LOL

10,000 Volts Sucks Beyond Belief Peter has to win
“A putrid horrible song” 😂😂😂😂
That got me rolling 😂😂😂
2:23 But it had a sexy alien chick playing guitar in it!
Haha
I’ll take all of Cat 1 way over Aces lame trixter album. Constantly cute , gimme a Fkn break Ace .
Gotta agree, 10,000 volts is his worst album.
No it’s gotta be Second Sighting.
@@haydenmalesky2518 yes. I agree.👍🤘
The best solo album by Peter vs the worst solo album by Ace? Definitely a, "spoiler alert" there!
both were just ok albums although aces was better
Pee uh wins
