Shadow of the Colossus - Exploring #12's arches

- A lot of fans have asked me to do a video about exploring the large arches we see at the #12th boss arena (Pelgaia). I had made a video years ago back in 2009 but it was short and very low quality see here: • Shadow of the Colossus...
Note: Since there is no collision detection up there, I have to use my standing hack code to travel across the area. So here I have explored the arches in more detail - needs no explanation - needs no video descriptions! Enjoy ; )
at this point if something is still hidden in this game from Nomad Colossus, then much credit to the developers.
This arena is so beautiful.
Imo these "arches" would be the Sluice. There are no other architecture in SOTC that could be Sluice, other than these Arches and The Dam. The Dam is an older beta asset that comnected to Parthenon (15's lair) therefore I conclude Sluice was composed by either a single arch or many of them, the same size, or smaller.
Just a hipothesis.
Great video nomad!
Your videos makes me feel as if we are exploring a classical art masterpiece. Beyond beautiful.

What a great view of the collosi from a higher point, usually you are always below them.
This game makes me so upset because its SO INTERESTING but I know that theres nothing more to find. The only lore expansion we can hope for is from other games that will be just as cryptic, the chances of a direct sequel are slim to none.
I know, but the mystery is precisely _why_ it's so compelling. There's beauty in its minimalism.
Absolutely incredible game with such detail
I remember exploring the area at 8:07 in the PS2 version & again in the PS3 version. When the PS4 remake came out I was pretty sure a gold coin would be hidden in this location, turns out there was. Hey Nomad have you ever explored the mountain arch in the D-2 section of the map? I'd be curious to know if there is any collision on or around that arch..
It seems that even in the remake the ICO Team decided to maintain the unused content
@@rcktneoofusa Ig the remake is "basically" a new engine for visuals, enviroment (idk what else) made to work with original engine for the core mechanics. maybe some areas that shoudn't exist were forgoten to remove from the original code

I've always wondered if there is anything in the other side of the bridge (when Ico and Yorda try to scape) in ICO. Can You show us?
Como llega a ese punto?
Siempre me intereso saber que pasa si usás algún tipo de No-Clip y te vas del mapa
He uses a lot of hacks xd

Did anyone else notice that only in the ps2 version before you got to their colossus their would be a golden gate? And also that agro used to be able to go up the stairs in the palace but never in the new ones?
My guy you are highly confused. Only 16th has a gate. Agro still goes up every stair in every version.
