Hi Jenny, I love it all looking so tidy. Your woodland are is just so pretty. I’m one of those gardeners who wants to chop all my zapped foliage back, I’m even tempted with my limelight blooms, last year I left them all Winter, this year I may just go for it. Ooh top secret project 🤩 Love your videos, thank you for sharing 😍
The leaves on my hydrangeas are really sad - dark and drooping. They got zapped by the early frost/freeze we had. Hopefully they will be ok. I mulched them up.
I love your energy Jenny, it gives me a boost when I'm having a lazy day. The industry of gardening/ nursery is a dawn to dusk commitment. Many many blessings again to you and your entire team for your great work. Enjoy the cool weather. ❤
Jenny, I agree with you regarding Fall clean up...being very therapeutic! One question, do you guys have to winter protect your paniculata hydrangeas in your zone 8? I also love to put compost & mulch during fall too! Except that there is none to buy in stores in our areas. We are still in lockdown so there is no stock of mulch any where in our areas...so sad! As always, thanks for the walkthrough around the nursery! Happy gardening! ps. Love your T-shirt! :-)
Lol, my ears perked up at “you new gardeners”. I am wet behind the ears. I just went on a hosta buying spree, .50 cents a piece. I’m excited but in a panic, as I don’t know what to plant even tho I have an idea of what I want it to look like. My next thought goes to ferns and that will get complicated. Thank you for the guidance.
Good morning Creekside, I have some coffee cup elephant ears and want to know how to over winter them in zone 6b. Got them in the spring and they are still in there nursery pot. Tried them out in the full sun and they didn’t like it so I placed them on the porch and they have hung out there since. Do I remove the dirt and dry them and store them in cool place? Need your help.
Love you guys, love that t-shirt....greetings from hurricane central- watching what I can before (in anticipation) of losing electricity ⚡️, take care 🤗
No, we are pretty much landlocked so in order to create a new road we would have to purchase a massive amount of land. Of course we are happy to begin a donation fund (wink wink)
Love it - “Blessed! “Such a fun time! You handled that so well. (Unexpected visitors)Let us know how the experiment works out with the coffee cups. There’s a lot of zapping going on around there. ⚡️⚡️Lol 😂
This vid was incredibly timely! I was worried about my hosta I inherited from a friend (who died) as how to take it into the next season...and what to do with annuals...it’s hard to keep from getting sentimental bc those blooms speak to you...‘don’t let me go!’ But that ‘whack’ and consequences of slug/yuck(I saw one today and didn’t know why-now, I do know why)... well, that convinced me! (No other advise guided me until you pinpointed it! Looking at your yard/successful trade...you know it! Of course. T y for your channel!
This was so awesome. I was thinking and worried about how to to well in my next season-Fall. I gave up gardening years ago...this past season and this new season-well I’m excited I have another season of consistency! T y to you!
Who knows what was going on with the camera? 🤦🏻♀️. Trust me, we wouldn’t be filming in the lightning! At this point I’m just blaming all the weirdness on 2020 😉
I’m sure that there are animals wandering around every night! For the most part they leave the nursery alone thank goodness. We have deer but they are never a problem. Our biggest pests are usually raccoons 😏, but we routinely have skunks, opossums, foxes, turkeys, etc.
@@GardeningwithCreekside Thank you so much Jenny, you were so right, and good prices too. I ordered a few for myself and a few gifts. They need to partner with you for some gardening shirts 🤗
Love the rain thanks Jenny for today’s Video 👌🥰🧤👒🇦🇺🐨🦘🐝🌱🤗

Another delightful and informative video! Keep them coming 😊
Will do!!!
So much great info, especially about cutting back hostas. Many thanks for your wonderful videos! Linda

They’re just doing what they’re supposed to do!
Love watching you and your husband. Bless you two! Not an easy industry to work in especially when your business is right next to your home.
It definitely has its advantages & disadvantages.
Cant wait for the surprise project! Love to watch Creekside!
Thank you so much!
Great video can’t wait for Jerry to do the landscape job at our house
He's just going to oversee the project. You'll be the one doing the job!
@@GardeningwithCreekside . Oh yeah I forgot about that

Thanks Jenny for showing these chores, and what we should expect.

Thank you! No, we don’t have to winter protect really any of our plants. That’s our reward for surviving our summers 😂😂😂
You’re lovely girl 💓

Stay safe!!!
Love watching you guys too! Any plans for an alternate road leading to the nursery? 😀
No, we are pretty much landlocked so in order to create a new road we would have to purchase a massive amount of land. Of course we are happy to begin a donation fund (wink wink)
Why do you ask?
@@GardeningwithCreekside Only because of what you were saying in the video and i know you say the nursery is right next to the house. Thats all.😊
The problem this week has been some property being sold on the road so there has been a lot of traffic during the week, it was actually not customers.
@@GardeningwithCreekside gotcha. Keep up the great work! Can't wait till you guys start shipping. 🥰🥰

Your asparagus fern can stay outside all winter? Is this a special hardy variety?
It will survive for the majority of the winter. If we get some really cold nights I’ll have to protect it.
Loved elephant ears "Coffee cups" that was some beautiful structure
It sure was!
Was it lightening or is it just my screen? I was loving the tour then kind of sinking down in my seat like a little kid every time it flashed 🤣🤣🤣

Always informative videos. Question: how often do you get animals wondering in your nursery area? I love that woodsy look.
