Oh my gosh, that hydrangea hedge in the beginning. 😍😯 So pretty! And I loved the variety of hydrangeas throughout the grounds, especially the pink ones. So inspiring. Thank you for sharing this gem! My husband and I are originally from Michigan but have lived in Charlotte for 10 years so it's so sweet we have that overlap!

Thank you for most beautiful garden yet. I am also from Michigan & love Hydrangeas. I have 4 Hydrangea trees & 4 hydrangea bushes & 4 small blue/purple hydrangea plants/bushes. I love Spring for the flowering trees. This place was a dream come true. I have 4 acres I want to fill with flowers. Again Thank You so much for taking us on your journey of gardening.

Yup , saw the Japanese beetle right off the bat! I wonder how they deal with them? We had them on my landscape roses in early spring!

Also, I’m glad to see they too have Japanese beetles like us up here in the northeast, I don’t feel so bad, we’re all I’m the same boat with the bugs 🙁

😢 absolutely heaven! I'm in zone 9a and have tried many times and they die so quick sun ,shade they don't make it. I'm in love absolutely my favorite and cannot grow it. I can't even imagine how you feel walking thru those gardens! Amazing
That's how I feel about those beautiful jewel-tone macrophylla hydrangeas. Two different sets of shrubs in three years and I'm tossing in the towel. 🥴

Thank you so much for showing us all those hydrangeas oh my God that garden is so beautiful yeah I'm from Pennsylvania I'm the one with the 30 gardens at memorial Park in New Kensington PA and I'm a zone 6B and I just love hydrangeas I put been putting quite a few in and of course roses I got everything out there so he had 30 gardens so it's it's pretty too talk to you later my phone keeps going off so sorry about that so thank you very much for showing us definitely appreciate it

What a trip!!! The whole area is beautiful and so well planned. You were so enjoying the place and it showed throughout the video. I can't even imagine how beautiful it was to see in person, with the scent of the plants, river and sounds of boats going by...absolute heaven. It also seemed so peaceful, walking down the paths...I can imagine waking up, getting some coffee or tea and just going for a morning walk. What a way to either start or finish the day. I think I would add some benches to sit on and just take it in, the sights, sounds and peacefulness. The drone footage was fabulous. Seeing the beds from above was truly wonderful. Thank you and Jerry for bringing us with you in this journey!

The grass alone is wonderful. None in my yard because of the water saving. BUT I hv tons n tons of container plants.
Watching a garden designer's video yesterday (Y Garden) I have been inspired to rip out what's left of turf, it's mostly weeds, for a 5x6' area of my boulevard (called devil's strip in other parts) and plant things that do well with dry, sunny, sandy conditions. Thyme, ajuga, low grasses, allium, things like that. I just can't get grass seed to germinate.
This must be heaven...

Earlier today, another guest of your hosts posted her tour of the gardens and showed it and I was gobsmacked. I'm now revising my plans to plant one color of arborescens hydrangeas for a mixture of colors. So pretty those pastel pink and was that maybe ruby or garnet?

It was so peaceful wandering through the garden in silence. TY for not filling it with music.
And lastly, that drone footage was another element that was awe inspiring. Bird's-eye view of the patterns that aren't as clear at ground level.
