im here as an original Pray For Plagues fan... the original version is close to me, as i have "Count Your Blessings" tatted on my chest because that song was a HUGE part of mine and my friends love of metal.
It's like Pray For Plagues with Grindcore vocals from like 2011 onwards basically. A lot of those squeals and airy weird noises were very present in those days. It started more in like 2007-2009 as when I was in high school I found a lot of bands with that style of vocals. A lot of old Grindcore had really weird guttural noises and squeal sounds that found their way into Deathcore.
This cover 100% why they are going to tour with BMTH soon in UK

What I need is for Ice Nine Kills to cover this song, after hearing their tracks "Funeral Derangement" and "Take Your Pick"; they're naturals for deathcore/death metal. I loved their latest album, and I'm not even nuts about deathcore/death metal.

I think he should've kept the lows tbh. It was a little much on some parts. I feel like yeah he should've kept it little toned down. And the lows were just not even a low fry. For this song.
As someone who isn't a BMTH fan and never cared about this song, I love this. Will's version makes me love it, Oli's voice just never hit for me. Nothing against the band because they're obviously super talented, it just didn't connect for me, so a vocalist I love doing this lets me appreciate the song so much.
