back when theme of laura was first composed in the original SH2, laura was the first character to be in a cutscene. akira yamaoka thought Laura was the main character, and named the main theme of SH2 after her, even tho she isnt the main character anymore. the name just stuck. as for why this version is named a reprise of it, i’m not sure lol
@@stopgirlidk6611 because it's the reprise (arranged differently) and not the original full piece? 😊 Same goes for Promise, the reprise version of it plays when you meet Angela in apartment complex ("Oh, it's you").
They butchered this piece.. trying to capture the original feeling of it didn't go so well as it seems. The violin and cello parts sounds off, and the piano sounds off too. Sounds like a cheap version of the original. The game is great tho.
One of the most heartbreaking tracks of the game for sure, Akira Yamoka is a something else man.
absolutely
You see it too? For me it's always like this. It has always been for poor Angela. She lived and will live in hell forever.
The looping (in the games/ stories)...I think it represents rumination.
so... why the name of the song is called " Theme of Laura " but only plays in the last scene of Angela ?
