It’s also my favorite. I made sure to take what I learned as far as distance sounds from the GT350 and make it better for this release. So far I’m planning on doing some more IRL recordings. Once I get an exhaust on my F80 M3 I may do a video on recording the car and rerelease a new S55 sound for it.

Unreal work!! FINALLY someone giving the murcielago a soundtrack it deserves, unlike every racing game ever for some reason. Combine this with Forza Motorsport's trans physics, would probably make for the most realistic sounding car in a game ever. FM is controversial but they nail the way transmissions shift unlike most racing games, manuals, egear & dct, sequential, etc just not torque converter automatics lol. That sort of shaky-ness when hitting the next gear and off the line while the tires search for grip the murcielago does in real life, cars in FM do as well but AC is missing this. Something that can't easily be fixed with a mod i bet

i haven't ran into the shift sounds triggering when they're not supposed to yet. I made sure to create a fade/buffer on the fmod track. With the 812 I know it's a problem.. and as for the "6th looping sound" not sure what you mean
@@gabe_is300 it's just that sometimes when you are at a very steady RPM (noticeable on a high gear at max speed) we can hear the sample looping - it's beginning and end, which doesn't happen (or much less) if the rpm increase is fast. Many mods have that issue, but it's due to lacking samples most of the time. It didn't seem to me your soundmod had the issue but I still have to go through hard testing :p
Well done with the sound mod, but in regards to the throttle cut you were trying to do, maybe you could increase the upshift time from 200 to 500 ms in the drivetrain file? You could try it out but i don't know if it will exactly achieve what you are looking for.
i might play with different shift times to see if it will sound better but I just know nothing will be able to force AC to cut throttle when upshifting. Just how it is unfortunately. I think the sound is 99% accurate and it's that 1% that's preventing me from making a sound that I can truly say is 100% accurate
Holy shit man. This is easily the best sounding engine mod ive heard for this game in regards to realness factor. The mechanical engine tone along with the engine wail. The shifts(up and down). Even the startup. What would I have to do for a Zonda f mod? There are about a dozen Zonda mods out there(the zonda r one is great) but every single one of the zonda mods don't do what your murcielago mod does.
I don't understand why these developers don't just hire you and the other AC modders who excel in their respective niches. It's ALWAYS better than the official content.
when i modify the data and stuff the car gets encrypted and i read the read me but i didnt see anything about that edit: the car is encrypted right off the bat like i do nothing and its encrypted.

The fact that you can make better exhaust sounds for games than triple A titles like Forza, says a lot about your work. Great job.
DriveClub on the Ferrari FXX Evoluzione has some pretty amazing exhaust sounds that often scare me during races.
