- The New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes is an old-time radio show which aired in the USA from 1939 to 1950. The series was based on the Sherlock Holmes stories by Arthur Conan Doyle.
For most of the show's run, the program starred Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes and Nigel Bruce as Dr. Watson. Other actors played Holmes and Watson in later seasons.
Great radio play with two wonderful actors.
Had not heard this tale before but it is excellent!
Thanks for listening!
Wow! I don't think I've heard these ones yet thanks for uploading :)
Thanks for listening!
There is no Goth / Goff Island located within UK Channel Islands. BUT there is a Gough Island in the South Atlantic 1,700 west of Cape Town, South Africa.
Wonderful yarn, after the first act I thought out loud "get her Holmes" after the murderess showed her hand.
Haven’t heard this yet either! Thank you so much, I can’t get enough of Sherlock with my two favorite actors! 🙂
Glad to hear it! I wish they made more, but I guess after nearly 200 episodes, they must have gotten tired of it. There are other pairs like the BBC's Hobbs and Shelley, which are mostly canon Holmes stories, and the South African pair which provide original interesting Sherlock Holmes stories as well. Do check them out, on my channel, go to "Playlists". Cheers!
Nice!!!!!!❤❤❤💘🙈🙊🥳🤠🤯
What a crazy lady!
Okay one.
