2x World Longboard Champion and Varuna Shaper Beau Young visits the Varuna Surfboard Factory in Indonesia. While here he worked closely with our team on design and took the Varuna Quokka he designed for a spin at the long lefts of Medewi.
Having the buy in of our shapers is what makes our boards so amazing. They wouldn't be putting their name and signature on these boards if they didn't believe in the performance and technology.

Hey Varuna, great and much needed initiative. I'm certainly looking at buying one of these craft. Some constructive feedback: Can you make your videos long form with more with detailed info? I don't even know the dims of the board Beau was riding? How about a long video on the design and shaping process? (Yes, I've watched your other videos) I expect your target market are people like me; those who are curious, want to support but who would like to learn more. We are not all stupid with short attention spans. Don't be afraid of long form deep dives into your company development, funding, negotiating FPIC with local communities and the tangible outcomes with them. Let's hear local people's voices. Let's learn about the setbacks, triumphs and failures. Building a company like this isn't easy. Clearly its been years of work. Tell me the story. It's a good one!
