As mentioned, being quite new to SketchUp and V-Ray, I'm finding your videos are an exceptional source of material to further study and gain experience. Thank you very much for sharing so much of your time and work. 🙏🏼
If I had known this 3 or 4 weeks ago.... I just made some graffiti on a brick wall for a Mexican restaurant. I made the full texture for the wall in Photoshop, as well as the bump and reflection layers! Took be about half an hour, but this was just 5 minutes!
That's why they always say, know your program cause it saves time! Same with shortkeys etc... A lot of collegesaus here in Greece use their mouse for EVERYTHING in SkecthUp or CAD 😱
Haha well next time you can use this workflow 😊 and yess shortcuts is a hugee deal. Maybe I should make a video on that :)) I have some custom shortcuts that could be useful😄
Haha I know what you're talking about, I had the same issues😂 but I think we were talking about a shortcut that let you unhide stuff without using the Undo button😉
zoomed in and saw the bump. and thank you again. you helped me a lot ! not with the coat here (saw the surface imperfection vid) but with all of the other vids! just go on and make me better :D ... how can i send you a pic that i made with your inspirations?
Never gets bored of the way you say PRETTY COOL HUH?
Haha thank you!! I do say that a lot, but I guess people dont mind😆

Glad I could help!
@@ArchitectureInspirations in this particular example did you apply the brick texture directly to the group, or on the surface within the group?
I usually apply it to the surface
great job
I would like to see a video of tips for night renders ...
sorry for the google translator ...
Very useful ! Thanks ! Really nice workflow !
Thank you!😄
OMG CAN'T WAITTTTT

@@ArchitectureInspirations I'm using your shortcut for unhiding last hidden object.
Yess I use that a lot😄😄

Wow amazing Minh..😍😍
Thank you so much Sampada!😄

Hm I'm not sure, not that I know of
I was searching for the decal on the new update vray 5.2 and found that, 3 years alot can change in one program! Now it takes only few steps
did you add the same bump materials into your wall art?
yay!! new vid time
❤❤❤😄😄
Really useful.. i always wondered how to put cool stuff into blank walls.. haha
Haha well there you go😉😄
Can't resize the blend material, need help.
how can we add mix map in vray 3.4..in opacity cant find custom source
can you tell, how can i make it on vray 3.4 ?
I'm pretty sure it's the same workflow
thank you
please make more in-depth tutorials about render elements. ^_^
Already did :) ruclips.net/video/wtdD68irsr8/видео.html
I'm getting black background while adding my png in bitmap, please help
What should I do if there is no ''Custom source''?
IN OPACITY U HAVE A OPTION OF ADDING BITMAPE IMAGE... JUST ADD THE SAME IMAGE AND U HAVE DONE.
@@shahbazKhan-eu3zt tnx u vri mcuh
Hi! Minh, I'd like to ask how you can do this in vray 3.4 because there is no custom source in the opacity menu there.
Hm maybe you would need an alpha map of the png and then add that to the opacity of the blend material?
Hi, what if the wall is round instead than flat? How can you resize and move the texture? Thanks
It should work the same. You'd just need to learn how to correctly apply the texture UV. Thrupaint is a good plugin for it
@@ArchitectureInspirations Thanks for the suggestion. How can I make it in Vray 3.4 without "Custom source " options?
Hm I'm not sure actually. :(
Can we do that in v Ray 2.0
Hm I'm not sure
Can I also do this with, for example, a stone wall with falling water? 😁
Hm I think so! This method should work with different materials😄
why my wall art doesn't have bump just like yours? i already put some bump map into my brick wall materials
I think for the newer version you need to add a bump map to the blend material itself
Can i apply this trick on vray 2? if so, cna u make a tutorial of it as well? thank you :D
Hm I'm not sure. And probably not. Vray 2 is too old. Not a lot of people will watch it even if I make it😂
I see, it's okaay. Im used at vray 2. Maybe ill try using 3.0 now if that's the case. I need that blend wallpaper for a project. 😂😁
Спасибо.Очень классно!
nice dude
Thank you!😄
When I try this it not have line of brick on the picture why??
Hm I'm not sure what you mean?
Architecture Inspirations picture that I set on the brick it don't have lines brick ,so it look like not real drawing picture on the brick.
Can you tell me how to do it?
hm... nice. i could not see the bump / displacement in the picture-texture. if i am not right - sorry for my bad eyes :)
Oh it's definitely there ;) it's because the displacement is very subtle 😊
zoomed in and saw the bump. and thank you again. you helped me a lot ! not with the coat here (saw the surface imperfection vid) but with all of the other vids! just go on and make me better :D ... how can i send you a pic that i made with your inspirations?
