      As the length L is taken as unit length so it's magnitude is used as 1. Because when we use any length,area or volume it's taken as unit in default in any kind of proof

      Since stress applied in all directions is same, he assumed px py pz be p and added them to get 3p...and the p which he put later was the normal stress which he talked in the start of the video.
