Dave is on a roll with old videos. RANS is still around and Randy is doing well. He stopped his bicycle business in order to concentrate on airplanes in the time since this video was filmed.
You know, if you are going to remarket old content, why not do an update at the end of the video? I'm getting tired of seeing the old videos being reposted as new, with no new info, just an ad for the next air gathering.
And I am getting tired of you griping about old videos being reposted! The purpose of the video was to let pilots know about the upcoming show! Many of the 50,000 subscribers to this channel haven't seen the video before, and don't know about the show! A video of 10 minutes in length take about 8 hours to produce! I didn't have that much time available, so the fastest way to get the message out was to repost a video from a manufacturer that was going to be at the show. I don't get paid to do this, I am nearly 70 years old, can hardly walk, living on an old age pension. And getting even grumpier as I get older! If you would like to spend about $2500 to attend one of these shows, using $20,000 worth of cameras, working from a mobility scooter, and then a day to produce one video. PLEASE DO! The Ultralight Flyer
@@ultralightnews Hey, I liked the videos the first time around. I've received some great info on the LSA market from your channel, and look forward to more. I guess I just get excited when I see a "new" video, and a little disappointed when it's the old one. I want the industry to keep growing, and when I see the old video re-purposed, it makes it wonder. Regarding the travel, the costs, etc, you don't have to do all of the traveling. Set up a background, and at the end of the old video, include yourself giving an update. Company X has been doing well, they will be showing a new kit, they have approved a new engine, etc. You are part of the charm of the channel. And for what it's worth, you don't show up as 70 on the channel. When I reach 70, I hope i get around as well as you.
