This is a game that could’ve had huge potential. All they would need to do is balance most of the kaijus movesets in PvP and add more DLC and this game would’ve been amazing
The only reason why it’s so expensive is because not many copies of the game were made and it was discontinued not long after it was released due to obvious licensing reasons. I have a copy of it sitting in my desk though.

@@evanblue5591 they're the same but their are obvious difference's, for example garegoji (a.k.a. g14) has more sauropod like feet and a longer whip like tail and smaller and sharpen dorsal fina, and Douggoji (a.k.a. g19) has more spread out toes and shorter and club like tail and his dorsal fins look less sharp and are a combination of the 2000 and 1954 dorsal fins

I got this game on launch too. Was it worth $60? Nah. It was still fun, but it probably got panned for what amounts to a very arcade experience priced like a AAA game. Hopefully, if they make a new game, it's a prim and proper 3D brawler fighter like the Pipeworks games.

The Godzilla PS4 game was meant for True Godzilla fans this is what people don't understand time to grow up and get mature Godzilla games like this we need more mature Godzilla games that little kiddie fighting games. You want to fight the game play Mortal Kombat that's what that for that is what that is for Kaiju is meant to feel heavy meant to feel powerful they are meant to feel slow they're meant to feel this way and this can capture the movies perfectly this game is amazing and I absolutely love it and I don't regret it
@@quv2035 i mean the problem isnt that they move slow or clunky, thats an intentional design decision and it was honestly pretty cool. The problem with the game is the repetitive nature, as 90 percent of the game is going after the generators, which doesnt allow you to fight kaiju normally or let you have fun breaking stuff. The game also checks you hard on the stupid grow system, it'll sometimes randomly give u a giant max size kaiju which you wont beat unless you efficiently destroyed vehicles, structures and the generator. This kinda takes away from the realistic movie feel. If you dont like the fighting games that fine, and if it were me i'd make a fully fleshed out "godzilla sim" with a bit more mechanical depth and things to do, on top of having a fun party fighting game being made too. Godzilla appeals to many markets and its silly to not want a game for people to just go crazy with like the old pipeworks games. But I understand having a game like PS4 one is really nice to have, they just need to add more to the game if they expect people to pay 60+ dollars for it.
@@ORLY911honestly I managed to beat 100 m Kaiju it's yeah it's difficult it's challenging but I have managed to beat Destoroyah 100m trust me I had to go through do it like three times before I was able to Beat It you have to strategize with the combat just like how in the movies Godzilla has the strategize around I love that.

I really want more Godzilla simulator games like this game was. I much prefer this game over the party fighting games. Don’t get me wrong the Pipeworks trilogy games are fun, but I much prefer a Godzilla simulator more.
Kaiju universe should be its own game but also if it was its own game it might be more vulnerable to copyright strikes like kiriyu is really hard to implement in games but it’s not really the appearance of kiriyu it’s the name if it
If Toho or Legendary wanted to get KU off of Roblox due to copyright laws then they have every right and Roblox will ban the heck out-a KU. They just don't mind since it's the only Kaiju game out there that's not hundreds, ya know?

And yet here I am with 256 hours on this game and most kaiju maxed except for mg since too hard fr no damage at all.the mutos were mentioned to be in it as a secret kaiju by the devs but we’re never added

I own the game and paid 35 bucks for it and I’m happy I bought it on release than now tip for g(64) roar then do your beam it should theoretically do more damage it applies to every kaiju roar then beam some kaiju have special abilities when you roar and do melee
Honestly Love This Game From Godzilla Movie Fan Perspective You FEEL Like The Monsters In Suits They Emulated That Greatly And Made Me Feel Like A Kid Again 10/10 From A Gamer Perspective MAN This Controls Pretty Bad But It's A Simulator You Are The Actors In Suits With Slow Sluggish Movements And Low Frame Rates 6/10
This game is amazing. I personally love this game, because it reminds me of the pipeworks trilogy from the early 2000's. You should check out save the earth soon.

If you roar (L1+R1) then Use your breath during the roar, it does more damage. If you want to see some serious damage, be burning Godzilla, roar then beam, it does a LOT.
The thing taht hurts is I had this game like three or four different times and loved it and then sold it once completeikg the story yet again for the third time selling and rebuying and now I regret this decision

This one is a classic it totally captures the feeling of being a kaiju combat wise not the best but it’s still so fun
