『GAME INFORMATION』
『🔞』 - The events of Dead Rising 3 take place ten years after its predecessor, Dead Rising 2. It follows the game's protagonist, a young mechanic named Nick Ramos, as he desperately attempts to find a way out of the city of Los Perdidos before a large incendiary bomb is released to level the city.
During the events of Dead Rising 3, a nationwide pandemic of zombie outbreaks has caused human civilization to be nearly wiped out. Contained zombies are accidentally released from containment starting an outbreak in Los Perdidos. Nick and other survivors must escape the city alive before the military performs a firebombing. At some point during the initial outbreak, Nick comes in contact with a trucker named Dick, his boss Rhonda, and Annie, an infected "illegal" - a person who refuses to be chipped by the government.

Welcome to your first Psychopath fight. I'll be going over the basics of fighting them. Psychopaths are dangerous humans that have snapped due to the apocalypse, or are using it as an excuse to commit immoral acts. They are extremely dangerous, so it's best to come prepared with food and durable combo weapons. A psychopath's health is in the upper right corner of the screen in red. Some psychopaths may have multiple health bars. All psychopaths have a weakness you can exploit. Exploiting this weakness will stun them and leave them open for a grapple. If the weakness involves an item, that item will usually be around the arena or thrown by the psychopath. To make it easy to point out, it'll be marked with a red icon. Press Y+B when displayed above the psycho's head to grab them. Nick will put them into a headlock. You have 3 options when a psychopath is in a headlock. Mash X to punch the psycho in the gut repeatedly, mash A to knee the psycho in the gut repeatedly, and press Y to finish the grapple with a headbutt and kick. The knee does more damage than the gut punch, but the gut punch is faster. A psychopath will eventually break out of a grapple, so make sure to perform the finisher before that happens. Some psychopaths can't be put into a headlock. Instead, grabbing them will result in a unique and powerful move. Trying to grab a psychopath when they're not stunned will cause them to counter and damage Nick, so pay attention. If that Y+B isn't above their head, it may not be a bright idea to grab them. Most psychopaths will become enraged at half health, doing more damage and gaining new moves, so watch out. Zhi will occasionally teleport on top of the totems and meditate to heal himself. Chuck something at him or shoot him to knock him off. Hit the gongs to leave Zhi open for a grapple.
