They know this entire trial wouldn't stand up to an appeals process, but they don't care: they want a guilty verdict and then whatever happens after an election they don't care, who cares how much taxpayer cash it burns. The problem is his numbers will go up if this kangaroo court finds him guilty, they have no clue what they're doing.

I have read them, and yes, that is why I now know that you have not. In every day of the trial, Judge Merchan has both sustained and overruled objections by the lawyers for both parties.
Certainly, Trump's lawyers have gotten the worst of it, but that's merely a reflection of their sad circumstance of being on the wrong side of both the evidence and the law. That's neither the lawyer's fault, nor the judges fault. That is simply the reality imposed by the circumstance's of this trial.

Judge seems to have it absolutely correct. Defence failed to object in the moment to many issues during direct. They cannot fall back on the idea that they objected to her testifying at all, then sit on their hands and fail to object .Defence introduced the idea that the sex was false in their opening, so clearly it is OK to offer testimony to refute that. It is called opening the door. Asking for mistrial on that basis is absurd. I wonder if this is a legal strategy or a PR exercise. There is no legal merit, but possible political advantages to claim a mistrial. If I were the lawyers, I would be concerned that I would end up being disbarred. It has happened to several ex-Trump ex-lawyers. Something about working for Trump results on lawyers losing their license. Giuliani, Ellis, Bobb, Eastman. Cohen, Powell, possibly Clark, Chesebro. Even Habba has problems with conflict of interest allegations. MAGA =make attorneys get attorneys.
So here we see Trump lawyers seeming to angle for a mistrial by failing to object to salacious testimony, then claiming that because it came in there should be a mistrial. Merchan was on top of this. The lawyers need to look out. Do not let Trump get you disbarred, as have so many of his previous lawyers.
Nothing is going to happen to release Trump from this. It was stated 12 months ago that Bragg was finished, the same as James et al. And they are all still around Look at Willi same things constantly said about her. She is still around. Go back 12 months on a lot of these stories and see what was being said then about their downfalls. They are still around. Willis thumbs her nose at various subpoenas and nothing happens. I don,t see the Republicans standing up for Trump. and screaming abuse about this crap. Except for you Robert and some other programmes.

Judge is totally conflicted? Robert says 100%, but the ethics committee the judge consulted did not agree. I wonder about lawyers who seem to go against all available evidence to make such proclamations. Does he really think that the connection makes Merchan unable to rule effectively? If so, what is the precedent for such an idea? When has a Judge been removed for similar conflicts? If it is 100% sure, there must surely be precedent.
