4:05 ended up getting the skull & co protective case. love how simple looking it is, but still offers some protection. love how it can stand up by itself without a kickstand. best part is it's so affordable.
i have the jsaux mod case and i have to say that the lcd deck fits easily into the carry case from valve with the kickstand and the 1tb oled only need to have the kickstand removed to fit without any problems and then you can use the pouch to take the kickstand with you. The "case" protector from the case is an extra that would make it harder to fit but you don't need it. I have it in case i need to take my Deck with me for a short time and then i don't need the Valve case to protect it all the way but if i take longer trips or i know my bag might get shaken around i use the Valve case.
I would recommend upgrading your ssd. I bought a 2tb nvme because my Steam Library is huge and there's always updates that eat up your storage. It's great to have the available storage, so you don't have to constantly redownload games because you run out of space.
This was the best accessories video I’ve watched for my new SD OLED. I had the Skull and Co case for my ROG Ally and grabbed the same for SD-it’s a fantastic case with the inbuilt stand moulding. Thank you!
I have the Skull & Co grip case as well and I agree it's absolutely fantastic. However, I found that with it on, the official SD case was a bit tight, there was quite a bit of pressure on the joysticks which I wasn't too happy about. So I ended up returning the grip case and then rebuying it but the Skull & Co bundle with the official S&C case (it was only a few quid more). It's a perfect fit for the grip case (as you would expect) and it's a little slimmer than the official SD case as well. Result as far as I'm concerned :)
I had the same issues I feel like they press on the joy sticks so I just take it off when it I put it inside the case. It’s so easy to take on and off too so that’s a plus.
For me personally I never had a steam deck or pc handheld. Got my first oled last week it came in been loving it gamer in my mid 30s who’s always played on pc for about 10 years now. Some accessories I’ve had in mind cause I knew I was getting, me personally, better but bigger case for me personally. Thumb covers, a nice 45 watt PD Anker charger that’s like super small, anker cable, screen protector, official dock, spigen thin fit pro shell (officially works with valve dock) and something that i think a lot of RUclipsrs don’t talk about. Is a right angle and a straight magnetic thunderbolt adapter (magtame, preferably cause you don’t wanna screw up the deck). Been loving the magtame cause even with the oled, you still charge more if your playing on a trip or something so having like your charger just snap in, or the straight for the dock to just snap in connect. And peace of mind I’m not going to destroy my usb c port from the constant charging 👍
I am shocked you didn’t mention the Dbrand “Killswitch” It’s my favorite grip ever. It fits perfectly in the slim Tomtoc case. I can’t use my steam deck without it
Sadly I couldn't show the Dbrand accessories as we don't have any! They ignored our emails in the past :) besides the Satisfye StylthGrip looks better IMO.!

Sooo not sure if you're aware, but there's a smaller case inside of the bigger case Valve sends out :)
Only in the 1TB model, not the 512GB model 👍
Does the skull and co gripcase for the LCD SD fit the OLED version as well?
Any batter pack that fits on the back of the skull and co grip case?
The only relevant thing here is the dock. SD OLED 512GB is the best version IMO in terms of display and it got by default grippy thumb sticks anyways
Can the skull and co gripcase fit inside the tomtoc slim case?
Can the Skull n Co Gripcase fit inside the TomToc slim hardcase?

Is the jsaux front cover compatible with the skull and co cover?
