I don't know why? I watched it more than 10 times...just love it.
Where there are Barramundi there are crocodiles, and some of these I have seen are easily big enough to put a foot on the edge of a tinny and take someone from inside it. It has happened to more than one person up there. If to you are going to do this--you need a BIGGER BOAT. These creatures explode out of the water at about twenty miles an hour plus--there is no chance to turn and run if you are on the bank. I know--I have seen it from my vessel, and I had no idea there were large crocs in the area. Precious cargo--keep safe.
I've seen those creeks harbouring MOROSA mate, instant gotya, no death roll.
@@AG-gd8hn I think I can safely say there's barely a Man or Woman watching this that wouldn't love to get hold of one, they're beautiful, vibrantly coloured, I caught something like it decades ago, but not an actual Morosa, I live in hope, I might let someone that has lived the experience explain.

Capture by hook, speargun, whatever's on the receiving end is gonna be sending out distress signals to whatever sizable predator's nearby.

Hey Molly just a tip, never wash fresh fillets in fresh water, it breaks down the flesh especially if you then freeze it, will get freezer burn.try to get a bucket of salt water to dip the fillets in. Love you videos, good luck.
Seriously with the misinformation, fresh water does NOT break down the flesh, there’s no scientific validity to that at all. Barra spend half their life in fresh water. It will not get freezer burn because of it either. If air is removed from the bag it’s frozen in that stops it drying out, otherwise known as ‘freezer burn’. 🙄

Nice video Molly, you're doing well with the open face reel. When I was a kid my Dad was having quite a time dealing with the backlash of line until I got used to it.
It’s called a bait caster. The older models were renowned for backlash but now they have fine tuning and magnet brakes inside to reduce this problem. You still need to tune the reel yourself as it is partly dependent on lure weight. There are youtube vids showing how to do this.
My only tip is to make the most of your right handedness when casting. Cast with the right and wind it in with the left hand, that way you don’t have to change hands with the rod. It’s how most of the rest of the world does it. You can’t change the handle on that bait caster but with spinning reels just swap the handle from the right to the left.

Hi Molly, an adventure suggestion for you; follow the Savannahlander train line as close as possible by road. Route: Cairns, Mareeba, Almaden, south to Mt Surprise, then southwest to Einasleigh and finish up at Forsayth. You could share a bit of info of the train service which is an adventure in itself.
Girl you are such a breath of fresh air, in this world of AI and self driving electric cars and countries at war , here you are hauling in fish in murky waters looking like you do and cooking in the back of your truck and having a great time all bye yourself proves there’s hope for humanity.
