The number 3 moment was the most exciting. Our racers, this generation is harvesting the seeds planted by the Colombian cycling legends since 1950's when La Vuelta a Colombia started. See these four guys, Henao, Quintana, Bernal and Urán, together, filled our heart with joy. As Colombians, we're living a dream come true. So proud of our cycling.

Yes, agree. After biding his time for the whole race to support Thomas, he was going for a huge stage win in 19, and there is no suggestion he would have cracked. IMO the stoppage merely shortened his eventual lead.
richard carr I think his gap over Kruijswijk, Buchmann and Thomas would've reduced, but I'm not sure if he would've been caught. Alaphillippe, I think, would've lost even more time.
They had 42 km left and 30 were going down hill but bernal is an animal coming down, and then the last hill I said egan could gained a minute and bit more on allan .

7:00 can any1 explain to me why are the rest sitting in the back and not trying to overtake? or they have no more energy? i love watching sometimes but don't understand a lot of stuff about this sport
The final stage of the Tour is a non-competitive celebration into Paris. Everyone finishes together. They are basically joyriding.

I think Julian would have won if there was not the bad weather. He is the best at descending.

@@salpicon1283 well, Julian is better at descending than everyone. He could pass them easily descending and maybe catch up to bernal.
Awakened Bahamut agree , but Julian was catching the Thomas group , not Bernal , plus Bernal in the final climb would gone alone to put minutes into everyone, even simon Yates said it , that he knew that in the final climb Bernal would of dropped him

Ricky Alcoser no, Alaphillippe lost minutes on Stage 20. Even if you neutralise Stage 19, the podium doesn't change, it just becomes the closest Tour ever.

Sorry, but Colombian climbers are hard to defeat. And Bernal's youth was a determinant factor. This tour was designed to be won by a climber.
if it is not for the avalanche, today September 21 Alaphillipe still did not reach the finish line, in stage 20 in just 58km he lost 3 minutes
