In the way of heritage railways, there is not only the Ffestiniog or Welsh Highland Railway but, also such others along the Cambrian Coast line as the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway (one mile from Welshpool station), Vale of Rheidol Railway (adjacent to Aberystwyth rail station), Talyllyn Railway (300 yards from Tywyn station), and the Fairbourne Railway (adjacent to Fairbourne station). Want to find out more? Don't be afraid to ask!
The issue with the 197s is they absolutely don’t have extra capacity as the 2 car ones have less seats than the 2 car 158s. The 2 car 158s have 138 seats and the 2 car 197s have 116 seats so I’m not sure how that’s meant to improve capacity but yeah 🤣

Ye idk they might as well keep 158s on there to be honest!
Two and a half hours to do 45 miles is ridiculous
