Miles please share the tutorial of the sprouted lentils I would love to try this
I sprout lentils at home :) just soak 50g overnight in water and next day just rinse them, leave them in a sprouting jar with a lid that has pokes holes in for washing. Or use a terracotta saucer, lay out with kitchen towel. Spread out the lentil seeds and spray 3x daily with water and wait :) it takes ca 5-6 days for me to grow lovely sprouts
@@AnnikaWithAk I never thought of lentils; but for the last yr sprouted broccoli the same way. You can tell instantly if something if off, in which case don't eat it but it's easy and brilliant.

I get golden ones here in Singapore and they are super sweet. The pink ones are slightly flavoured and the white are minus flavour. If you can find the golden ones you are in for a treat.
They sick in the USA too, don't know what the hype is all about with them.

Miles! you have to try the YELLOW SKIN dragon fruit, it is yellow on the outside but white on the inside and tastes sooooo sweet and delicious, like sickeningly sweet I swear! I live in south America and those are the standard. I tried that purple one once but I was shocked how bad and different it was. Never again lol
I absolutely love these type of videos. That camera angle when you are grating and chopping is perfection. If I ever have a RUclips channel I am totally going to steal that idea, and quite shamelessly. 😁

From a German who has had a lot of bircher muesli: the secret is to add orange juice shortly before you eat it and mix it in. Adds a little tangy sweetness and elevates the dish!
My mum was born in Berlin in 1927; the wall was a big thing, also escaping Hitler and coming back to find friends ... there is no better mustard in the entire world than Berliner Sampf (been a long time hope I got it right! ) the orange juice is better possibly than what I do which is close squirt of lemon. Cheers my friend!!
😍😍😍 Love that you’re also on the bircher train! I’ve been making it a bunch this year. I do rolled oats, grated apple, blueberries, raspberries, apple juice, soy milk... leave overnight then add coconut yogurt, lemon juice, maple syrup, chia, hemp and pumpkin seeds 🤙🤙🤙

Yeah I got some in Belize from like a fruit market they have a pretty mild flavor for sure. I prefer passion fruit like whichever color the sweet ones are I believe purple
Not here from Malaysia. The white ones are pretty bland, but the pink variety can be so sweet and delicious.
As a good old swiss woman that used to grow with Bircher müesli, I highly recommend to also mix it with plantbased milk. With berries it’s also VERY good 👍🏽. Yours looks so yummy!

I wondered why you did not do homemade bean sprouts, hummus, falafel, and quick-pickles (onions, cabbage, cukes, and even WATERMELON RINDS!).... They are all stupid-simple to make and often much cheaper and tastier than store-bought.
Miles! I'm living in Australia and only recently discovered the brand in an organic shop here. Noya also has a legendary hazelnut butter. If you add a bit of cacao to it, and some form of syrup (maple, or any other liquid sugar; just a tad obvs) - it's legit nutella.........

Coming from the US I had to Google Butterbean. Here it's a Lima bean. Wow..that surprised me. A bean I never eat! I am so going to air fry them!😘
From the US also…butter beans and lima beans are actually two different beans. Butter beans are larger than Lima beans and they are a whitish color…Lima beans are green 👍🏻
But darn Google says they are the same bean...🤔

@@terri_loves_plants5799 I think a butter bean might be a mature lima bean (??). I have only seen butter beans in cans, and at the grocery store, they are usually with the canned veggies, not the canned beans.

I have once been served these on a party and they indeed tasted like the nothing so on that day, I decided I am not buying these myself ever ;P I think this is the case of many exotic fruits - we should only eat them where they grow, otherwise they are just not tasty :D
