Bought a Bluesilver Chrome 3sxity 3 speed from BikeXpress after watching your video. You have convinced me that a casual rider needs 3 gears, not 10. I did say “Ray” and the price dropped a little. That was nice. It came today and looks gorgeous. Perhaps I should do a YT video on seniors like me should ride a bike for exercise, sightseeing around Singapore, and running errands, for that matter. Decided to change the tyres from CST to Continental, for I was told it’s better. The shock absorber (or suspension) was changed from plastic to shiny steel, and so was the pedal from plastic to foldable steel (Sapience). Added a silver colour bike stand, it was firm and essential. I thought after all that, it’s a good start. When I tested the bike my left shoe was caught on the left side tiny wheel (for pushing), and I nearly tripped over. Now I have to think about how to overcome that. The seat was not comfortable for a senior or a casual rider. I had suspected that and found a Velo Flurry (much wider and more cushion) and put that in my cart. Not wanting to wait a few more days to enjoy the bike, I went straight to Tampines West to get it from the store opposite the Middleton international school. One thing leads to another, a bell, a degreaser, a dry lube., a brush, a cleaning cloth. When is it going to end? When is this going to end? I will stop here. Not to forget to thank you for this introductory video on your experiences with the 3sixty and a comparison with other similar bikes.
Good morning Mr Chin, I am very pleased that my efforts are useful and helpful towards the cycling community. Also, congrats on your discount 😜 I think you should start doing YT too, you have a lot to share and write. I believe you will gain traction:) You definitely can contribute and help others too with your experience:) You need to get used to not hitting the rear easy wheels, slowly but surely, you won't hit already. Saddle wise, can get wider ones for more comfort. Start filming your experience with the new 3sixty you have bought :) we can do a video one day together too. Cheers and ride safe ☺️
@@raylearnstofilm6668 As a beginner in cycling, I'm most suitable to give feedback on the bike. Yesterday, I started to cycle from Vivo City across the bridge to Sentosa. I went towards Sentosa Cove as it was a lovely morning. As there are up and down slopes all the way, it is the best stretch to test the smallest gear. Sad to say it was not smooth as I switch gears, the chain fell off the gear. No big deal though a little disappointed, this is a new bike with a new aluminium derailleur that is supposed to be better than the plastic piece replaced. The upslope proved to be too much for an old man (though I have strong legs), especially on the return. The night before that, I tested the bike on a slope in my neighbourhood that is about one floor high and about 40m long, back and forth, time and again it was bearable. But Artillery Road > Allenbrooke Road was the tipping point. All of that was overcome by the gorgeous sight of Sentosa Cove on a cloudy morning-breathing taking to say the least. I'd have to cycle a few more times elsewhere before jumping to a conclusion. Question: Is it an often and common experience to have the chain off gear?
I like the internal structure more than the external structure. Because it is more reliable. The combination of inner three speed and outer three speed come out with 9 speed is the best option.
Indeed, it is more reliable until it breaks down then the problem arises for me... I have tried the 3x3 internal gear combination and find the gear ratios too closed for me....
As a Dane I tried to buy a 3Sixty, delivered to the EU (Looking for a Brompton type, copy bike), but it wasn't sold in the EU most likely from Copy Rights issues, as the Patent has run out? And I must admit that even my two times 3 gears are not enough for my use.
is good to see more of those external 3 speed coming out . hub gear though required little maintenance but it will be almost impossible to repair if faulty. not to forget the re lace of spokes when changing a new hub gear.
Hi Kokwei, yes, the trend is really going external even Brompton are pushing their PLines and TLines as premium models. Repairing, I definitely do not know how to do it for the internal hub. Haha... Too complicated 😃 Re lacing the hub is still doable with the help of shifu @ Bartley.

Hi Mot, I have sold my Pikes and I am not able to do a video on it. However, I can share my personal experience. 1. All the same folding method, Brompton derailleur no issues. Initially, Pikes and Aceoffix folding very stiff, maybe the paint at the hinges too thick. Added All purpose oil and it's not so stiff already. 2. Hi TAI, I missed your comment, the size of this stock 3sixty external chainring is 48T. Hope you enjoy my videos:) cheers and ride safe. You are very welcome.
Yes, the rack, front block and a better saddle increased the overall weight of the bike. In my opinion, these are mandatory upgrades for a convenient and comfortable ride. Unless one is achieving a superlight bike for hand carry, I think the slight increased weight stabilizes the trifold. Which is a plus point. Lucky, there is no internal hub... If not it would be too heavy.
For me, no. I have friends/cousin who encounter these issues with their Aceoffix 3speed external. To fix it, 1. you have to check the chainline of your crank to the rear cogs. 2. Limit screws at the pusher 3. Tension set at the cables when pulling the pusher. Trial and error can fix, I am not a expert haha. Can bring down to cycle clinic SG. Or any trifolds shops:)) Cheers!

This bike was really easy to assemble ruclips.net/user/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.

I've been riding this bike for about a month ruclips.net/user/postUgkxwC0IIeIomGQVeBWg-kKJaToZkLEFIA2W and a half now and I think it's fantastic. It helps me get to work on time every day since I'm able to fit it inside of public transportation rush hour. The price is great too, people are always shocked when they ask me how much I paid for the fold up and I tell them "200". It's easy to fold and installation when it ships is insanely easy. All you have to install when the bike arrives is one foot pedal, everything else is done for you. I do recommend you carry some sort of wrench to tighten any loose screws on the handle bar and seat whenever they get a little bit loose. Other than that I think it's a fantastic bike. Easily fits in the home, can fit inside a car trunk and can even fit in subway rush hour.
Look like the helmet strip on your right need to be adjusted. The v joint should be near to your ear. 😂
Ya! I adjusted soon after... HAHA... Thanks:)
