Have you eaten here in Granite Falls? Yes, we love this place. We have been going there since it opened...probably 10 years or more. First review we've done of it. We felt like we should do some local things, as well.
Yes, do that. And let us know what you think about it. There is also another Frankie's Pizza, which is not far from Lenorir-Rhyne. There's a Hickory location, and a Granite Falls location. Those are the only 2 that I know of.
Like your hoodie! Grimaldi's is on a different level so that is nothing against Frankie's or other good pizza places. The coal-fired oven and water that Grimaldi uses makes a huge difference. The cash total and credit total is beginning to show up at more restaurants. Which if funny considering during covid there was a "change" shortage and everywhere wanted you to pay with a credit card. The pizza looked good! Looks like an exceptional neighborhood pizza place.
It is a really good place, and yes, Grimaldi's is definitely on another level. We have also noticed the higher charge for credit, showing up at more and more places. And thanks for the hoodie compliment. I basically have 3 favorite teams...NC State & Tennessee (toss up), and whoever is playing against UNC.
@@lindablair919 I assume you are referring to Marion, VA? We have a Marion near us, but I think you are responding to the lady from Southwest Virginia.
I love local pizza places. Looks like you have a good one there. I don’t like the fee being added for using credit/debit. I don’t carry much cash anymore. So I pay the fee and maybe grumble a little about it. I will still leave a good tip-can’t blame the server. My late hubby owned restaurants and it is a tough business.
We've definitely had a few. We just haven't always saved them in the past. Maybe we should start doing that. Most of them consist of a motorcycle or something loud going by, and then us losing our train of thought.
Y'all are in the same bucket we're in. We're in the perfect place. 30 minutes to the mountains, one hour to Atlanta, 4 hours to Savannah. I (Lori) don't like the fast food pizza like Papa Johns or Dominos. The sauce is too sweet. That pizza looks great!!!!!!! We'll have to try that next time we're y'all's area!
Yes, it is definitely worth a try! Really, really good. It is nice to be able to take a short trip to the mountains, or be at the beach in a few hours. Best of both worlds!
You would think chickens are becoming extinct…just another way we are being held hostage in the grocery store. My sister raises chickens, so get my eggs from her..but, I am seeing the prices in everything going up, week after week. Our grocery bill has doubled. Pizza looked scrumptious…I’ve been finding lots of good keto recipes for crustless pizza. Going to make one soon😊
One thing I noticed working in a nursing home is that people who live into their 90s is that they are people who rarely ever did eat out much. Be careful with all that fast food.
That's the place I mentioned to you and Shawnasi when we talked in December. Glad you did a review of it!

Thanks for supporting a local restaurant. Nice review 👌
Thank you so much. Glad you enjoyed it!
I’d offer another pizza place to review. Twin Brothers Pizza in Valdese, NC. We enjoyed them.

Thank you so much!
Like your beard Derek! Hello Shawnasi! Good to see you! God Bless You both!
Thank you. Hope you and James are doing well.
Yes,bloopers please.
We've had a few.
Good review. My nephew is going to Lenoir-Rhyne in the Fall. I will have to try it when I'm in that area.

I live in Southwest Virginia, bout 50 miles from NC or TN... Little town called Sugar Grove
Nice. Thank you so much for watching.
I’m from Marion but moved away after graduation many years ago. Love to go back to visit. My relatives always raved about the Sugar Grove Diner!

i like Piccolo's too
We've been there, but it has been awhile.
Bloopers 👍

The pizza looks good, I think it is crazy though how much a pizza cost.
Yes, it is. Unfortunately, everything is going up sky high. Couldn't believe what Shawnasi just told me she paid for 1 1/2 dozen eggs at Walmart.

@@Momtocam1997 Would love to know how it turns out. And yes, prices are going through the roof. It is getting ridiculous.
They cut their pizza in 8 pieces, we always order ours cut in 6 pcs because we can't eat 8 pcs.
Ha, ha...Good one. Maybe we should try that, so that we would eat less.
Hi guys...
Hello
One thing I noticed working in a nursing home is that people who live into their 90s is that they are people who rarely ever did eat out much. Be careful with all that fast food.
Yes, we make sure and eat lots of fruits and vegetables during the day. Living off of just restaurant food, would not be a good thing.
It was surprising to see y'all eat pizza with a fork. I've never been able to do that.
Beats getting pizza sauce and grease all over our camera when we're recording multiple scenes.
