The funny thing is that if anybody ever read the book anymore they'd know that laurie did say that he really just wanted to be part of their family and he even said he would have asked meg if she weren't married and Beth to even though she was so shy. So this skit was actually kinda true lol😂

This is actually a good response- like if someone proposed to me, I said no, and then they proposed to my sister, we would ABSOLUTELY respond like this.

But you have made us laugh while paralyzed in an elevator, rearranging house guests at the top of your lungs, and being a punch-drunk Andrews sister. You've got that Kristen Wiig/Kate McKinnon thing: as soon as the audience sees you, we start grinning.

I can't believe you opened with Jo holding her manuscript while standing in a room with a fire and Amy walking in.
This was so tense. It was like a scene in a horror movie when you know something bad is going to happen only I was actually on the edge of my seat the whole time. I'm glad the manuscript survived (even if Beth didn't).
I'm still bitter over Amy existing.

Lol. I love the exposition telling us who is who and how they’re related. I saw little women but I don’t remember any of the character names or relationships.
Aside from all the “Ooooh!”s, this looks like when a bunch of kids due their first acting career with all the movements and terrible acting and stuff like that

Can anybody explain why they’re weirdly walking around like that? I haven’t read the books nor seen movies if they exist so I’m clueless 😅😂
Because they were incapable of writing a weird script and needed to distract from that fact.
Laurie was the biggest ascot for first door proposing to Jo before he backdoor proposed to Jo's sister Amy.
Jo wrote My Beth, not Little Women, but I see why it made sense to use it.
You know what’s really ironic is that lots of fans who ship Laurie and Jo blame Amy for it not working out. I even read a book where it all but states that Laurie would have ended up with Jo if she’d gone to Europe instead of Amy. Of course, that’s completely ignoring the fact that Laurie was rejected AFTER Amy left. Jo would have rejected Laurie, regardless of what continent they were on.
Correct, and Jo was HAPPY that Laurie married Amy. People who think Amy did her dirty or that Amy and Laurie didn’t have a real romance are just showing that they’ve never read the book.

Um…what was that supposed to be? Like, what was the joke or the humorous throughline (other than over the top movements and the “oh” thing, which weren’t funny, just random and goofy).
Basically it was that Laurie and Amy were getting married and then Jo found out, and then SHE told Amy that Laurie proposed to her first, and then SHE told Laurie "Ohhhhh" and then the other sisters found out and they were like "Ohhhh" and then Beth died.
@@StudioCtv thanks for the play by play. I usually enjoy sketches that feature Jetta and Tanner, as they are both clever actors, but this one fell flat. I think it might be the sketch itself that was flat, not the actors in it. It felt like watching a choir perform with their hands clasped in front of them because they’re singing an old-timey song. It’s meant to be funny, but instead it’s just awkward. That’s my opinion anyway - not every sketch lands for every viewer.

Lol 😆. Btb I had a Brill idea for a sketch if your game. Based on the annoying requirements to make a new password for griffindor House, student having to come up with a new password but has to include certain characters/numbers etc with more ridiculous rules for strong password. Also with a side painting that comments on the strength of the password and another side painting at the end that ask at the end whether they would like to save the password for the future?

Alcott spends a good deal of time showing us that Jo wasn’t in love with Laurie and then building up a real and natural romance between Laurie and Amy. If you somehow missed a large chunk of the book, I don’t know what to tell you.
This had potential, but your new guy just CAN'T write a good ending. It's not that hard, people! Fire the producer's nephew and hire someone who can actually write!

What? She said no, & he never denied anything. For the families it was still a good match, & Laurie still gave the women the option of saying no, which I don't think he had to in that era. Dude's a catch & the girls have to get past themselves.
But it is still awkward. If my husband proposed my sister first whether he is a catch or not I will feel awkward and sad. It makes me the second optiion because better one didn't agree.
It doesn't have to be my sister also. If someone asked my best friend and rejected him and few months later he asked me it would be the same feeling.
And yet, Jo DIDN’T feel awkward and sad because she wasn’t in love with Laurie.
