Wow, what a great episode. That was seriously strong focus and planning on Haruka’s part to keep up the ruse and help Ryu escape. Gotta love how Zoda of all people caused this to happen. Quite enjoyed his own evil on display too. Now that Black Shadow is back again, things will be more dangerous for everyone.
Good buildup to the race on both sides. Wow, that got intense on & off the course. Wild stuff w/Ryu captured, & Miss Killer's thoughts, and actions! Solid ending & episode.

I'm starting to think after ep. 21 and since he found out about his girlfriend trying to kill him on a regular basis, he still harbors that lost love of Haruka so he did this in place of her. Now that I think about it, it's kinda sad thinking about it. You almost got merced by a treacherous mafia boss and ended up in the future with strange characters and aliens running around the entire place and the thought of you and your girlfriend being the only ones on this new world other than Zoda in this brave new future will do that to a guy.
Why is Haruka being put in a pod, exactly? And how does everyone not know that Zoda tried to kill Black Shadow? It happened in the middle of a race track! Bio-Rex and Octoman at least should be aware.
It's explained in a slightly later episode but the point of the pod is to brainwash its occupant. Black Shadow uses it to keep Miss Killer under his control and to keep her from remembering her past, and later tries to use it on Ryu (he gets better)

Well, my theory is that Ryu finding out about Haruka being Ms Killer or him losing Haruka before the truth (not to mention being killed and waking up in the far future) REAALLLY did a number on him so he did this in place of her to fill the void. Now that I think about it, that's really depressing.

Also my brother says his favorite f zero character is Jack Levin because it sounds like he says the n word sometimes, my brother is so immature... He also said he got an n word pass from his black friend because his friend already calls him a beaner all the time and apparently all his friends call him drug dealer and border Hopper but he's ok with it. Jack Levin is actually a funny character in the anime and in GX he has a blue collar that looks like vaporeon but when I made a custom vaporeon f zero machine in GX I made Doctor Stewart the pilot because he just seemed like he would train Eevees.
