Hüseynî makamı, insan ruhunun en derin yaralarına dokunan, acıyı da umudu da aynı nağmede buluşturan bir lisandır. İnsanlar kederlerini, hüzünlerini, bazen de tesellilerini bu makamla dile getirmiştir. Türkülerde hasretin, ağıtlarda vedanın, salâlarda hüznün nağmeleri hep Hüseynî’nin dokunaklı ezgileriyle yankılanmıştır. Huseyni maqam is a language that touches the deepest wounds of the human soul, bringing pain and hope together in the same melody. People have expressed their grief, sadness and sometimes consolation with this makam. The melodies of longing in folk songs, farewell in laments, and sadness in salahs (a religious recitation in Islam announcing a person's passing and inviting the community to the funeral prayer) have always echoed with Huseyni's touching melodies. This is why Huseyni maqam is not just music; it is a language of the heart, a silent cry of the soul.
