The Jamie Sommers doll is awesome! I had the doll as a kid and also loved the tv show. I think your old baby beans doll is so much sweeter than the newer one. My favorite baby dolls I loved as a kid were baby Chrissy and Dancerella. Do you have them in your collection?
@janetsplanet2947 I do have baby Chrissy! Mine didn't make it from childhood so I bought one i found in a dollshop when I was 19 and still have her at 54! I did have a dancerella and want another one so bad! One that doesn't break the bank. I've been looking! Now who is Jamie Sommers? Didn't know there was a show....definitely going to look into it. @janetsplanet2947 hey i just realized you were talking about the bionic woman doll🤣 I thought you were talking about the Uneeda "Jaime" doll. I had forgotten the bionic woman's name on the show was Jaime Sommers until I googled it. Her real life name was Lindsey Wagner and I ended up naming my daughter Lindsey too😊
12:59 I have a very vague but certain memory my Aunt Jane had this one! I remember asking her about it. Sadly my memory is already fading and I'd give anything to once again have a very clear recollection of all the events with people who are nolonger with us. But I hold onto what I can. I thought she was a variant of Cinderella too lol very beautiful doll indeed
I thought Stacy was her younger sister? But very cool that she's British. You remind me of my late Aunt Jane. She had all kinds of vintage Barbies including the ones from the 50s that had the little tiny Barbie with her. She said if she ever passed away she wanted me to have all her dolls, knowing I would yake care of them. Sadly, my one uncle is a good person but very greedy and pawned off most of my aunt's and Grandma's stuff after they passed away so I have very few physical keepsakes to remember either of them by. But they both had the biggest influence on my personality and I have an affinity for dolls and perfumes, even though I'm a tomboy who also wants to join the Army, play football and fix trucks lol I thought Lucille Balle was Blanche Devoruex at first lol but I love them both. If I ever become a mom I'll pass on Aunt Jane's tradition and play dolls with my daughters. God bless you and I wish tou alm the best.
I just remembered years ago in second grade I had to do a report on Lucille Balle for some reason. I was so sad here she had died and in such a sad way (something waa wrong with her heart. Poor lady) she was such a beautiful woman. I remember seeing expensive collector Barbies of her and wanted them but even Aunt Jane couldn't afford them.
