Slumdog was filmed in India by Danny Boyle the British director. Boyle became a fab of Anurag Kashyap after seeing Gangs of Wasseypur. He particularly loved the foot chase scene through the gullies of the Mumbai slums, and asked Anurag to use the chase for Slum Dog. Kashyap said sure, because he was a Boyle fan, and it was copied almost step by step.
Slumdog Millionaire came out in 2008. Gangs of Wasseypur was released in 2012.
The Anurag Kashyap movie you are referring to is 'Black Friday' and not GOW.

Indian classical instruments like Sitar has similar strings like a guitar. But the notes that cannot be played in a guitar can be played with times 100 of every combination. It also goes classical music singing. 🇮🇳
