Texas Sharpshooter%... Just play a random level, pick any unique feature of the level you get, and audible into claiming that you were speedrunning for that feature the whole time.
Some silly ideas. 1) Keydeath percent. you must suffer a keydeath without going back through the keydoor or timing out, then beat the level. Troll levels with intended keydeaths do count, but because they take a long time to beat, they aren't optimal. 2) Antisoftlock percent. you must die in a non trivial anti-softlock without it taking pity on you. 3) Dev Exit percent. 4) Cheese percent. you must cheese a level. Remakes of nintendo levels don't count, and you must actually beat the level.
Every% you Have to beat start a new endless run on Every difficulty and beat respectivly 4 easy levels 3 normal levels 2 expert levels and 1 super expert level. You Have only 1 skip on each difficulty
pacifist & hungry% you can't kill any enemies (or destroy objects that have eyes) and you can't eat power-ups (but getting a power-up from a checkpoint is allowed)
A 69 coin run got you demonetized, huh? Sounds to me like family-friendly channels like this one need to avoid encouraging those that snicker at that number.
I mean, these weren't really dumb speedruns...just that you were bored and trying aomething else. I would say this may be a good idea if you want to do a certain condition for a skip in a Super Expert run. Say that it was Pick-a-Path...if you get one in a run, you'll earn a skip. Or you get two in your run, you get 2 skips during the run, and so on.
I just hate when live streamer do does challenge because it become unfair for the people that made the level, playing the level once for just 3 second, this does not count as you play the level, so the maker will not be credit for your play time since your play time for one time play was too short. To count a level as being play I'm not sure if they short it to 5 minutes, if you don't die and don't retry, if you die and let it respond before skiping it will count as a play even if it is less then 5 minutes.
The last one he claim that it was a pick a path level and it was not one, because the wrong lock door that he pick just lead to a door that was right at the same spot, unless their was another wrong door that lead to death or alternative path it would have been a pick a path, because if he count that one as a pick a path, one happen way earlier and he did not count it as a pick a path.
He mentioned that even if all doors take you to the goal it would be ok. But in this level, a wrong door still is death. You get softlocked and have to reset (or timeout), which consumes a life in endless. You need a key to progress, but no longer have a key to choose any remaining doors
Honor. But yeah, I was trying to sort out a rule system that bypasses that loophole. You're only allowed one attempt per 24 hour period, and time goes perpetually from moment you declare you are going for it (prior to entering a level of course.) Still would require 'honor' that you aboded by those rules though. But think thats as close as we can get in something not meant to be taken seriously, haha
I am incredibly mad that you didn't reset your runs after every level. You could've gotten sub minute runs for every single one of these. You're terrible at speedrunning.
