Can't thank you enough for these podcasts. Coincidentally I have a Computer engineer's degree and am starting my investment journey with Preston's buffet books channel and followed up with Graham's Intelligent investor. Buffet's philosophy is so clear cut. There are no secrets which is what fascinates me. This puts everyone on a level playing field..
Have any stock splits happened with Berkshire? The stock is way too expensive for the avg joe to get into. You can get into it with certain ETFs but then you are held back with all the other holdings in the ETF.
On the other hand, do you really want to get into it now? As you said, considering how big Buffet's company has become it is facing diminishing returns where it is more and more difficult to get double digit returns. So I don't even know whether getting into Berkshire makes any sense now.

That's because most people are irrational and would rather watch something more entertaining and "lucrative" like Jim Cramer's Mad Money on CNBC. The same guy responsible for losing clients up to 90% in the 2000's gives advice on tv to the average Joe and writes books on how to get "rich".
