It’s funny, because “Nearly Civilized” would have been a much better title for both a Bond movie and for that story, about the end of the Atomic Age and the dangers still present from it. “Nightfire” was a fun game but kind of a bland name for it.
@@Dorian-_-Gray Nearly civilized doesn't sound edgy and womanizing enough, nightfire is just the kindve thing you'd see in folder marked classified(In james bonds reality anyway)
“Nearly Civilized” would have been a better name for the story of “Nightfire”, interestingly enough. It’s a story about how the rise and fall of the Atomic Age, instead of bringing humanity into a bright future, empowers a warlord and threatens the end of civilization. Just naming the game after the Nightfire project was kind of bland, a rip of Goldeneye.
leave the world behind, reinvest in physical media and get purchase multiple copies of breath from another, I lost mine in a spontaneous car fire sadly
Don't love me quietly Do it with intensity Or you'll miss the point Do it with every sin you strain Or there's no love to be gained 'Cause we are nearly civilized And I could almost love you now We will throw this building up Just so we can tear it down again Oh, well I don't know how you found me But you wrapped yourself around me I thought it was warm And soon enough, I found me too Immersed in mediocrity 'Cause we are nearly civilized And I could almost love you We will throw this building up Just so we can tear it down again
It's "Do it with every *s i n e w* strained" As in the sinews of your muscles. Idk you might want to correct that otherwise all these adults are going to be singing it wrong like toddlers xD hahaha
I remember this song from the intro of night fire, well its just a stunning song, so much perfected to be done for a video game, this supposed to be one the OST of the bond movies.
No limewire is really the only place you can get it. I just downloaded it off limewire and it sounds great. It's exactly the same version as this video = ]
My god, I have been looking for help to recreate Nightfire's PC version on the source engine, with elements from the console version for YEARS. Then suddenly this Nightfire Reloaded website pops up and its suddenly the buzz everywhere. Yet they don't even acknowledge the PC version at all. The PC nightfire community is so small these days and many don't even know it has online play. And it runs on the HL1 engine, making a port to the source engine would be easy with enough people..
whatever, i just can't believe that site has gained so much popularity, while the PC community dwindles with less than 12 players tops in the entire game that play at one time.. we've spent YEARS advertising and providing download links to the game, reverse engineering the game to improve it, fix bugs and add new features. and only for nothing
I miss James Bond Nightfire. One of the best FPS game at it's time with a combination of gadgets and AI-BOTS which made the game fun. I'd always bring friends or family playing Nightfire with me ;)
+Gaming Greats Critics? Man fuck the critics, theyre probably old man judging the game by its cover or some shit like that. They probably haven't sat down and actually had real friends to play with them to have a laugh and enjoy a beautiful and last best james bond game ever.
Nightfire is 2nd best Bond game ever, Everything or Nothing is best. EA would make a killing remastering and selling these games for download on PSN and Xbox Live
***** Dereck Morales GoldenEye N64 > Every James Bond game ever Though I agree on Nightfire and Everything or Nothing being pretty good. But come on.. GoldenEye. Plsss
+John Reese bs goldeneye was best, the rest that came after where terrible knock offs mostly terribly crafted, the pc version of nightfire was one of the worst games ever made and universally slated by critics with a rating of mostly 3/10
+Lucy Goldeneye is one of those games where if you have the nostalgia goggles firmly in place, its great, but honestly revisiting it you see how poorly its aged
+Jesus Dildeaux Christ Ooooh, respectfully disagree. Goldeneye was an achievement across the board and won a crapload of awards for a reason. Sure visually it doesn't look great by today's standards, but the game craft was exceptional and that remains evident today. Many well-financed attempts were made to recapture the magic, but there's still only one Goldeneye. (And only one Xenia Onatopp ;-)
Good memories of playing multiplayer, 4 players plus AI bots on phoenix base with all explosive weapons with respond area on near. Hilariously destructive.
No Time to Die was so bad. If you would have told me after Goldeneye came out many years from now Bond would die in a movie I would have probably laughed in disbelief
Because of James Bond after she says "Tear it down again" i ALWAYS imagine a voice saying "Nightfire" right after
Yes.

Night fire 007 I played this game in 2017-2018!! Most of my nostalgic memories come from those years
i played it in 2002 when it came out
Everyone's talking about this Bond game, but, for me, this is about an Esthero song I had never heard before today 👍
Bond bond bond bond bond nightfire nightfire nightfire
This is still a banger in 2020
and in 2023
A banger in ANY year. Breath from Another is in my top 10 albums of all time.
Ahhhh, NightFire... Wallclipping has never been so satisfying:P
InfiniteSheldor if I die tommrow 'this song will play st my funeral

Ian Harris ...And if you don't?

"If I am to be the hero, then I cannot fly from darkness."
the first thing i think of when i hear this song is the opening to NightFire
EA Games should resell 007 Nightfire on directly on PSN Store, XBOX Live & Steam.
+Joey id laugh and never consider buying it xD just being honest, for some its a nostalgic game, but it was never a good game
+Jax Dagger but it was dude......you have crappy taste
Jax Dagger that’s because you’re an idiot who doesn’t know a good game. You probably thought call of duty is still a good game.
@@JaxDagger I’m not even a big James Bond fan and nightfire was my shit! You’re just a hater
It’d be nice, but even when you posted this six years ago, that would require three separate remakes of the game.
"Do it with every sinew strained or there's no love to be gained."
I love Esthero. This is a good remix. I wish she got the props she deserves.
007 nightfire ❤️😍
use to play night fire back in 2003 for GameCube and this song never left my head
They should at least remake nightfire with better graphics and stuff
Remaking a game as old as that would take about as much effort as it does making a brand new one today. It's not like they can use those pre-hd assets
+Fischstix95 I'll probably try to get into gaming industry just to remake this game
TheDankMemeRises 108 remake which version though? sequences and level designs were very different across all platforms for some reason
Fischstix95 Nintendo version that was the first one I played
Fischstix95 oddworld inhabitants did it quite well with New N Tasty (abes odyssey remake) and the graphics on that was twice as bad.
Absolutely f##king loved the game, the graphics weren't great but man this tune brings back memories.
It was in a 007 Game. (007: Nightfire in 2002) Just letting you know...
She awesome i been given 007 for this song but i know who sing it now
yes... the game was pretty good. :)
i loved the music they had in it.
007 nightfire :3 My favorite 007 game; ♥
007 !

Nightfire
Why isn’t this on I tunes lol
But.....weren't you working on it along with everyone else?
(You said you were working on the Deutsche MK9/DK9
Nightfire is the best game ever!
Question, what's the project's status? In-Progress or dead?
@mdoubledbg how do that?
“Nearly Civilized” would be a much better Bond movie title than “Nightfire”. Much less bland, much more Bond.
this on any of her albums?
no, it isn't
@pierre0227 all her songs are good for that
@hlppopotamus a ganme developer called callan carr
Hey how goes the project?
limewire
Dont love me Quitley
@ilikemario8 limewire is dead... TORRENS ALL THE WAY!
When she whispers "Nightfire" I literally almost bust while squeezing my nipples, mouthing it silently with her. Its a grand feeling.
what is with this terrible sound quality
The version of this song used in Nightfire is a remixed and cut version of the original song.
*****
lmao :D bad troll, thats not how you trigger people
you have much to learn
Do they sell the full version online or on disc? It's hard to find anything besides the Nightfire cut.

Esthero is BEAUTIFUL!
Definitely mate! I remember playing this with my brother. We played against the AI on the hardest settings and DESTROYED them haha. Laser gun ftw!
007 Nightfire anyone?
LOOOL! I could never skip the 'Don't love me quietly' part in 'Nightfire'...song always seemed eerie on that game.

Nightfire.
Damn, the only game of the period that had a shot at competing was Halo.
Funny, they both had stellar opening tracks.

This is an actual song! God if Nightfire was a movie this would of been on the radio.... more like annoyingly so.
@DHURTYMACK08 Straining your self by lifting hevy objects. *shrugs* other than that I dunno.
HOW DO I GET THIS SONG?!?!?! I LOVE ESTHERO BUT I CANT GET THIS ON MY DAMN IPHONE!!! WHAAAA

Irony being that it was a portrayal of Brosnan's image in the game.
