You have done this song as it was meant to be done and you have made it your own. There is a scene in Gabriel Garcia Marquez's novel, 100 Years of Solitude, in which the old revolutionary is waiting in his cell for his turn to go before the firing squad. He had dedicated his entire life to the cause, but now the revolution has turned on him, declared him a traitor, and he is feeling bitter & betrayed. His executioner comes into his cell and mocks him, saying, "Remember, comrade, I am not shooting you. It's the revolution that is shooting you." He replies, "Go to hell, comrade." That's what this Dylan song makes me think of, every time I hear it. You two boys' version is the best soundtrack for the movie in my head. Thank you.
AJ Carr how strange! I discovered this song a few month back and you have nearly described the short film that plays in my head every time I listen to it, must now go and read 100 years of solitude……….great minds think alike!
@@petertgrew I hope you really do read 100 Years...It is one of the greatest books of the 20th century. The author won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1982 for his body of work, as did Bob Dylan also in 2016. Be well, Friend!

It’s funny how everything is connected in this world. When I was 9 in Peru, one of the first books I read was 100 Years of Solitude, and I loved it to the point that a few months ago I gifted a copy to my girlfriend. It means so much that our version brought you that visual that so closely resonates with me. Thank you for listening and motivating us to continue making music:)
