Hello from Chihuahua Mexico, I was watching the outdoors whit the Morgan's and he said about your videos, I follow you chanel for years and is the first time i heard that, GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
I worked for a small grading company for over 12 years. In 2017 me and two other guys was clearing a lot for a house. I was on the ground limbing and making logs. The trackhoe operator had worked for the company for over 30 years and the other guy was on the ground with me. The operator threw down a small pine maybe 80 feet tall 18 inch diameter. He moved it so we could cut it up. He swung around facing away from me. As I walked up to start cutting the top out he swung around and grabbed it close to the stump and started sliding it toward me. As I took a couple steps back the top dragging the ground bowed away from me. Before I could get away it let go and come across and hit me just below the knee on my left leg. As I said I was backing up but I'd only taken two steps back, that's how fast it happened. When it hit me it bent my knee the wrong way and threw my back about 15 feet and I landed on my but and slid another 10 feet before stopping against another tree. This tore all the ligaments and muscles in my knee and broke the joint bones of my lower leg bone. Split it in half vertically. I can't walk good anymore let alone be able to work this type of work that I loved doing. I can't even hold a pedal down on a piece of equipment anymore to run them. I have to use my right foot to drive a car if I can get comfortable enough to drive. So to all you guys that do this type of work be very careful. It only takes a few seconds to hurt yourself very badly. Make sure if you're on the ground that you and the operator are on the same page as to what's going on. I don't blame the operator and I don't think it's my fault either, it's just one of those freak accidents. Stay safe. -Wil 👍
