Some ideas apply. Like projectile to shield as some characters is great. Multi hit ariels deal with tether very well. Try to push him offstage.

As a Joker main who regularly fights a Pika main this is all true and he didn't need this because he does all of this regularly smh. I need a guide to beat Pika.

Pick up a Pika counter I find G&W hard when I play pika but that’s just me
Forward and back air are very good against Pikachu when timed right. I've taken a lot of damage against Joker playing as Pikachu when getting juggled, too. I think his tether is under-utilized in platform play. Hitting him with bullets or the flame thing are great at disrupting Pikachu's timing, too
I’d say you mostly wanna stay grounded and try to avoid flat stages if you’re in a scenario with bans (even though current stagelist has 3 FDs). Nair puts you at risk of being faired or baired if they read the jump, or just happen to go for a SH aerial at the same time as you. Nair should be good if they don’t SH aerial at the same time as you, but any time you both aerial at the same time Pika will win and probably get something off of it. So just be wary. Gun/Eiha camping is probably just safest.
Recovery without Arsene is just choose high or low and pray. With Arsene try to mix up your timings and how much you hug the stage wall, otherwise you just die cause lol pika
Ledge trapping is really hard. You HAVE to be able to react to regular or roll getup so you can focus on reading jump and quick attack. If he quick attacks, you have to hard read where he’s going to go. The QA thing applies to advantage too.
Killing you have to bait an aerial to Bair him, hit landing Bair, Usmash OOS, or get a dragdown uair to usmash (only on platforms cause Pika pancakes it otherwise) or Dsmash.
Experience: Opted for Joker v Pika over Bayo v Pika till I dropped Joker cause I wasn’t having much fun with him. Now I just suffer through Bayo Pika lmao
GOSH I remember the trailer saying something about expressiveness in the game but, looking at Pikachu's expressions is like..... WOW 0.0 There's so much happening in Smash that I kinda forget to look at the details and.... Details PAY OFF INDEED #-#

Is there anyway ESAM the Pikachu master could upload a guide on how to deal with Game and Watch? Or just some tips? I struggle with that character and he honestly tilts me. Tried to watch some videos on pika vs G&W and it seems like pika only gets a hit when G&W messes up. You can’t use t jolt and G&W can u-b all of our moves.

Esam when is the advance pika guide coming out
He's mentioned on his stream that he's not planning on coming out with an expert Pika guide. This is because he doesn't want to claim he's come up with a guide that definitively states what's considered expert since the meta continuously develops. Instead, he said he'll be coming out with multiple videos on different aspects of Pika's play (i.e. his upair video). Hope this helps!

Just hop over her missles and be aggresive when she charges her beam samus is almost always stationary when she uses her projectiles but dont be afraid to go in for the kill when she drops bombs thats when she used her jump and you can punish that very easily with a little practice

I don't think Samus is very hard for pika as a projectile character. At first Samus can be tough but once you understand them it becomes quite easy. My tips would be to close distance with quick attack, Samus has basically no options if you are around her or right behind her. Try to figure out what they like to do when you get close (attack ? roll ? air dodge ?)
Don't let Samus breathe and you can win 👍
Samus basically wants to be SF2 turbo Ken. You can invalidate this by using t jolt a lot in theory. In fact, even zoners like Plant who want you to jump can be defeated by just being more patient.

As a joker main, this is very good for pikas. It's surprising there's a lot of pikas who use fair in neutral which I can punish. Very good for pikas and informs my weak spots
Esam. I have a request, you know how you go into depth on pika stuff instead of guide? Well can you go into depth about thr followup after a down b thunder that hits people below you. Like when You drift away from it. Only the stray thunder. Then it knocks them up. What're followups?

Whats the best punish for low/mid% jablocks? Ofc there´s dtilt dash attack, but maybe stuff like uptilt->upair bridges, or even uptilt->delayed upair->fastfall thunder on DI in? Does that work/is it optimal?

But how do I beat WiFi Samus
Some wifi Samus are really good, but always keep your projectile game in mind: jump, shield, advance, pressure, repeat. Break up that projectile game and Samus doesn't seem so bad. Once they lose their confidence being campy, they really have to move, and their close range moves are kind of predictable, IMHO. I try to get Samus off stage as soon as possible to get them scared and keep the momentum going from there. ESAM has a nice upload against the best Samus in the world. Definitely worth a watch.
I love using fast fall Bair or nair offstage against Joker, EZ gimps

If joker counters your tjolt and you run up and shield can’t the joker mash grab or mash a fast move?(I don’t have anyone to test with)
Most won't the first few times, but when they start to you can spotdoge the grab or go for a mixup.

For the life of me I can’t up air bridge consistently they’re so damn hard. I practice them a lot but still can barely do them
Then you probably have to practice them more. I've probably practiced them for 50 hours overall and now i can depend on them in matches sometimes
I find up air bribes easy but hair loop very hard I get it like 15% of the time
I find nair loops way easier than up air bridges. Whenever I manage to hit two or three bridges, I either land too early and have too much lag to continue or don’t get the right hit box.

I just keep beating up Joker and when he starts spamming rebel guard thats when i go for a grab combo and when his arsene spawns i dont give him space and just close in on him when he approaches me i usually win unless i get a random back air from arsene hes a cool charecter but i hate his gimmick.
Arsene just vanishes if you can do a basic pika combo.

How to beat WiFi cloud.... Of course when I get one back air or if he's offstafe, I basically take that stock... But how to play neutral or disadvantage e.g(if he's juggling you?)
When you’re getting juggled I’d say you can just side b off stage and then recover easily because pikachu

Just work on quick attack angles. And use it to get back to stage
Make him come to you. If you keep hanging out trying to fight Cloud in the middle of the stage, he'll out power you, but force him to approach and you can get him to the edges and mess up his rhythm. As good as Pikachu is at charging, it's the worst thing to do for a lot of matchups in Ultimate. Hang back and let Cloud do all the running, then block, grab, throw, spike!
A very major point would be dash -> shield into his bair zoning, WAIT for the second option (ftilt usually, mixed up with side B if they’re good) and punish that.
Learning about the hitbox on his dair is crucial.
Stalling out his limit is important and guaranteed in most situations.

@@pleaseenteraname3684 joker struggles against combo characters and short characters. Kirby is a combination of both, but kirby is light and lacks killpower, which allows joker to kill below 120% and live longer.

1) Kirby doesn't struggle against short characters, so Joker's low dash doesn't harm him.
2) Kirby is one of the best characters for stalling Arsene due to his floatiness and multiple jumps.
3) Kirby is a combo character so he's able to eat away at Arsene really effectively.
4) Kirby has a multihit Dthrow, which absolutely devours Arsene.
5) Joker is a fast faller, allowing Kirby to get mad damage off of basically every interaction.
6) Joker's ability allows Kirby to have a WAY better disadvantage, and also allows for Kirby to edge guard Joker with no worries whatsoever, since down gun annihilates Joker offstage. Kirby also gains access to a great neutral mixup, Gundashing.
7) Kirby is super short, so Joker generally struggles to hit him.
8) Kirby isn't very threatened by Joker's neutral since he runs straight under eiha and is easily able to spam tilts on Joker's shield without him being able to punish.

All of Kirby's aerials kill except for dair, and he has multiple kill setups. He also has the 4th strongest nair, and a kill confirm at 60%.
Static Chimera Kirby can’t stall out Arsene against a good Joker player at all because sure he has multiple jumps and his floaty but how does that benefit him more than his sluggish air speed harms him?

@@jonnysheppard5623 Not a chance he gets outclassed by characters like Inkling, Rob and Snake.
I think he is top 5. He is fast, has tons of tools (Eiha is one of the best projectiles), combos for days that are also quite flexible, counter (can really annoy someone like Snake) and just pretty good kill potential. Sure there's not many pro Joker, but neither are there Peaches and Pikas. He is just kinda hard to master.
How to beat Joker easy....
Just play broken top tiers (Pika, Palu, etc)
If you can't beat them, join them
