Immolation Of Night has great parts and is the heaviest track from the album. I would highly recommend you to react to Without a Whisper to see their diversity and what they have to offer. The whole album Heavener is a masterpiece but other songs from that album that I'm sure you'd like are False Meridian, Elysium, Purity Weeps or Void Surfacing. Then there's an EP called The Sun sleeps, as if it never was (2 tracks + the "," which is an interlude): Another true masterpiece and As if it never was is my favorite song of all time.
Definitely recommend listening to the full album Heavener. It still holds it's place for AOTY for me. They really did something special and unique blending beautiful sounding ambient parts with the heavy guitars and of course the incredible vocals of Marcus. For me personally the album really takes off when the fourth track Without A Whisper comes on then every single song after that for the rest of the album is just gold. False Meridian the atmosphere they create is simply the most amazing thing I've ever heard in metal and gives me chills everytime. Reverie is a beautiful mellow track placed perfectly in the album then this song comes on right after and totally destroys. Purity Weeps has a beautiful chorus. Void Surfacing has some incredibly technical guitar work that slaps! I can't say enough good things about this masterpiece \m/
Heavener is on a different level. I am very picky and into melancholic, dreamy but also energetic stuff, and there are only 3 songs on that record that I don't regularly listen to since it has dropped (Absence Persistent, Labyrinthine, Purity Weeps).
This is currently sitting on top of my AOTY list and idk if any bands are gonna be able to unseat it. I know it’s all subjective and what hits me personally will not hit others in the same way but holy Santa Clause Shit, I fucking LOVE everything about this album. Y’all gotta peep: -Without a Whisper -Void Surfacing -Elysium -Purity Weeps Or really any song from Heavener lol
Still holds up, immaculately. There's still nothing new this year that is even close to as good. Invent is just factually leagues above most bands and this year, they decided to be above all bands. So god damn proud of them and will never stop supporting them. Invent forever mate
I feel you man. I’m still listening to it front to back at least once a month. The only other metalcore band I can think of who’s pushing the envelope as hard as Invent did would be Silent Planet. This year’s been one for the record books in terms of awesome music lol
@@EthanRadell No lies detected. The whole album is fire but specifically the 1-2 combo of Nexus and SuperBloom (with reentry as a breather) is one HELL of a ride lol
I think I requested purity weeps on a live stream back in march. This album is packed with amazing songs. From false meridian to shade astray, and then songs like without a Whisper and reverie. Its gonna be really hard to pick an aoty
Yooo! I hope you will do Invent Animate's newest single "Heavener"! Omg I think it will be soty. Its the album track but it was released after the actual album xP
Love the channel (the fact you react to shit like DBZ:A is awesome), and hate disagreeing. But yeah, I just didn't enjoy Heavener in the slightest. Something about the screams, the drum mixing (the instrumentals in general sound off), and the overly effected cleans just put me off this. I personally think this album was a step down from the EP, and part of it came across as.. well, everyone else is doing weird bits and mellow bits talking about grief with some electronic and ambient bits thrown in (but distorted, because metalcore) and it's just so entirely overhyped. And before anyone craps on this, hey: if you connected with this and it moved you and made you feel something or if you NEEDED this album, then I'm happy you got that. As someone who really just didn't have expectations outside a few songs on their last EP, this just doesn't feel like the genre breaking, peak metalcore (TO ME) that it gets touted as by the general music community. A general community that fell over to dump on A7X for being different and Metallica for being bland but ignore bands like Pupil Slicer, Bell Witch, and Svalbard for not being accessible 🤷
This whole album freaking slays!! I loved getting to hear some of this live and they were amazing cause they opened for bad omens!!

Yeah quite spectacular to say the least.

@@unclefoot Superbloom is incredible, it's going to be in heavy rotation the next few weeks. The last two songs are ridiculous 🫠

Imminence - Heaven Shall Burn
Its huntingly Beautiful & brutally Heavy at the same time 🥹❤️

Either
Currents - The death we seek
Or
Invent Animate - Heavener
IMO will be my AOTY 2023

This is my "least" favorite track from the album. I highly recommend you guys hear the other songs. Heavener is a whole roller-coaster.
Checkout Richard Cheese. He did a few metal covers that are... Interesting
