Thats a nice looking coach, I wonder if Greyhound will buy any of these. I kno Greyhound has been buying a lot of the Prevost. I guess Greyhound don't wanna buy anymore MCI.
ever since the G4500 failing, Greyhound is a Prevost buyer now unfortunately. hopefully they do pilot one of these for testing, although MCI is now owned by New Flyer Industries.
@@evangouldtransit yea and the G4500 was a total Greyhound design that MCI tried to steer them from but GH persisted in being stingy-cheap about investing more money into a quality product. After all MCI already had the J4500 and 102DL3 and then the D4500. But noooo, it was too much for GH pockets. So it was a good riddance for MCI as their coaches are still the #1 best selling decade after decade.
Just found out MCI is finally ending the production of their D4500CT line of buses with NJT being the last operator to have MCI build them some... And that the D4520 and D45 CRT LE are supposed to directly replace the D4500CT
No this is a D4520, the D45 CRT is the commuter bus version that has a destination sign in the “forehead” of the bus. D4520’s are the coach bus versions. Like how the D4500CT is the commuter bus version of the D4505, which is the coach bus. Also the D45 CRT has the split commuter door.

The D4520 replaces the D4505, the D45 CRT replaces the D4500CT.
Why didnt they give this D4520 the transit style front doors like the rest of the fleet
Because it’s a Coach and not a Commuter Bus like the D45CRT LE. Two different versions.
