I was struggling on my walk to redemption and this song found me. It has made my walk easier. Another amazing song you might want to check out is 3 Wooden Crosses by Randy Travis.
Great reaction! The original recording of this song is amazing. This acoustic live version with Wallen's harmony is a masterpiece. Wallen and Fleet are both contracted to Big Loud Records. Fleet has yet to become mainstream enough to become a country radio artist, but evidently someone recommended this song for last Sunday's "Rise Up Country" syndicated radio show, bc I turned the radio on last Sunday, and Fleet's album-released version of this song, which is solo, was playing. The story goes that during the first half of Wallen's 2022 Dangerous tour, he nabbed Larry Fleet, and took him out on tour with him (Wallen as a headliner) simply bc Wallen is a fan of Fleet, and particularly this song. Fleet would sing Where I Find God as part of his own set, but when Wallen came out, he'd bring Fleet back out, and they'd do this song together. In the second half of Wallen's tour, he started bringing along a different and mostly unknown, Ian Munsic. It's just something Wallen does as long as he has the power as a headliner that needs no other support to sellout to do. This is how he's also been able to keep Ern on all his tour stops and HARDY or Parker McCollum on some others as his hand picked cohorts. According to fellow artist, up and coming superstar, Jelly Roll, Wallen is the "800 pound gorilla" in country music that neither industry leaders or the media will admit, because it doesn't fit their narratives, but that Wallen is kind of like the Sylvester Stalone of country music. The only artist in the genre with a big enough draw combined with a strong enough will to bring who he wants on tour with him in an industry where the artists usually have little control on such matters!
I was an atheist 20+ years. About 5 months ago God showed himself to me. I just found my church. I am born again in Christ.
