Hey! Who wuz all them peoples on that stage? Wow, what a sight, if those walls could talk. I saw Leon and his wife perform in Mobile Alabama. He, being White (we think, who knows?), had a black grand piano on one side of the stage. His wife, Mary McReary, being Black, had a white grand piano on the other side of the stage. You had to be there, what a wonderful couple that made beautiful music together.
Ken Burns country music brought me here. RIP, Leon!
Me too. The Hank parts killed me.
Same here. Can't believe this recording is 50 years old. Timeless. And, oh yeah, Claudia F----g Linnear.
Will the circle be unbroken
By and by Lord, by and by
There's a better home a-waiting
In the sky Lord, in the sky
Lrun Russell's performances were so vibrant and full of love. This is a favorite - thanks for posting!

And Leon is now a part of that Circle. RIP to the Master of Space and Time now that you are in a dimension beyond space and time.
