Wow... you are seriously talented! Please keep making your videos. I learned more in 12 minutes than I've learned in hours of googling this stuff. Thanks!
You're welcome and thank you for the kind words.
Please make more! I just subscribed to you when I saw the removal of the interior lights & step lights as well. I'm getting my order by dec 5 & it's already getting shipped to me too. Hope my LED lights arrive safely home so I can watch your video again.
I found what I was looking for.
The removal of this console.......
THANKS a lot
Love your videos man. Keep it up!!
Thank you!
Man that is nice as hell
dude... how did you know? this is next up on my list of mods!
Glad that I could help! A couple of more options that I did not do is to create an Aux in port and a USB port from your head unit. My head unit did not have rear USB or Aux, so I did not add them.
Same! I’m doing this in my 02 Sierra
Clean and nice job
Thank you!
Awesome!!!!!!! Thank you so much
John Tautala you're welcome
Weird thing to note, the rear door speakers in my 1998 Ford Explorer won't work if the rear volume control box isn't plugged in. I may have to add the ports lower down or something, but I'll definitely do something like this.
Good video. What is the hook for above the old stereo controls, or where you put the new usb's?
Headphone storage? I honestly do not know.
Very nice. Where do you get those USB port sockets?
I would like to know how you got around the problem of the rear speakers not working once the media control for the rear was unplugged and left unplugged?
It wasn't an issue, I simply unplugged it.
Should do a video on how you wired it all together
There is a link to a document that I created to help with the wiring in the description. A separate video would be a good idea.
Hi, GREAT tutorial on these consoles. I have one silly question....what is the the area above your USB’s used for?
I think that was made to hold headphones, but I do not know for certain.
Didn’t think of that. Thanks a bunch for getting back to me
Do you have a video on installing rearview camara on 98 expedition by any chance
Yes I do.

if left on will it drain your battery.
Can you design me one... How much would you charge... I would like to buy one from you
Would you be willing to make this place and the usb hook ups for a few?
For shipping to the US, making the plate, and all of the components shown on mine it would be around $100 for me to make it and send it out to you.
@@TwoKeysStudio how can i purchases it from you
I would also like to purchase custom modification parts
So, cool vid, thanks for it!
Criticism: please never make me watch you screw/unscrew again. That's literally half the time of the total vid.
Criticism meant in all the best faith. Thanks!
Umm... wouldn't be easier just to leave things the way they are and plug in a usb adapter into the 12v auxillary outlet?
Your fix does nothing with the radio controls that no longer work or are used.
Hello the products are not available anymore unfortunately, please help
Here is a link to another harness that should work. I've updated the description accordingly. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Dewey Cox, is that you?
Probly not the same but i installed a usb on my car n the light is on all the time is the natural
Yes, that is why I put the switch on it.
Did you really have to to take out the rear audio controls to do this? It seems like you could have put the USB ports lower and kept the rear audio functionality. Granted - this allows you to return it to stock as desired. The workaround there would be to go to a junkyard and obtain a spare panel - that way you could have the best of both worlds!
No, I did not have to take them out, I wanted to. The controls were no longer used after I upgraded the head unit and I never really liked having the backseat controls anyway.
still using a screw driver in this day and time thumbs down
Uhmmm, ok. Thanks for the negativity, have a great day.
