Regarding whitewashing:
I have been seeing many comments stating that I whitewashed the characters and I am so sorry that you felt that way.. I respect people who connects their race with their base color and I also do so but please do not go to artists and push them to understand the character the same way as you do.. this is how I understood the character and I am truly sorry for your discomfort.
I did not mean to make anyone feel bad about how I draw things and it is also quite stressful to hear those every single day. although I understand the fact that people are very serious with skin colors and I also think that it should be taken as a serious topic, I do not think making a person racist just by their arts, recoloring other's art just because you think is the right thing to do, nor harassing artists to draw the characters the same way you understand is correct.
I personally think that choosing not to support the artist or look at their contents are way better than screaming to artists to change their art style.

While i personally draw cookies as a more humanized skintone variation, devsisters has told fans its actually up to them to choose the cookies skin tones, saying it didnt really matter and that it was all just for fun :D

Because the canon colours of he cookie depend on how long they've been baked for, and naturally they were all the light coookie dough colour. The problem itself isn’t the fact that the art is white-washed. It’s the multiple people saying that the cookies don’t have races.
There are certain cookies based of cultural outfits and creatures.
For example, Moon Rabbit. She is wearing a cultural kids outfit. Not only that, she is based off Korean folklore She is most certainly not white. She’d be considered more of an Asian/Korean cookie. Another great example is Kumiho. Kumiho is also apart of Korean folklore. Let’s also consider the fact that she’s wearing cultural clothing.

Im vry confused, I haven't fully completed the story yet. I'm only on world 9. Did White Lily ignore PV and create a "perfect" cookie, which was Dark Enchantress? Or is White Lily Dark Enchantress?

The devsisters said that all the cookies have races because they wanted it to be as diverse as possible. I read what you said but I think you don’t understand the problem, the problem is not just you whitewashing at this point. The devsisters said that all the cookies have races yet for some reason you had theme be white? If you played the game then you should have seen that the cookies are sometimes dark brown, light brown, and other colors. I think you just respect that the devsisters have each cookie with a race and when you draw or make art/videos don’t just make them white.
can I have a link of them saying that cookies have race? I would like to see it by myself 🙂 any proof could be possible
