Not true, on this model there is no desmodromic sistem, so is a "normal" bicilindric engine, but very ligth, powerfull , and high torque...just ready at 3000rpm ducati is always better, after all, even without desmo❤

That's also better for performance without needing a huge revs. Dry clutch... There will be an aftermarket one but I wouldn't bother.

I’m awaiting the 2025 Streetfighter V2, but I think most people will go Yamaha R9 over the Panigale V2 for its affordability, especially if the specs are identical.

Without price ducati is better that engine is amazing for a v twin amazing it weighs so little even carrying 1 liter more of fuel and with the base model without the lithium battery. That means it has room to become even lighter. The frame and engine make it amazing. Price is the only thing that makes them somewhat even. You can buy a lot of stuff with 3k that you save getting the R9 instead. 3k can get you a full titanium exhaust, sprint air filter and a tune. Or better riding gear. Or a vacation somewhere.
As a Yamaha fan and owner the Japanese bike wins on this one and the maintenance I promise you will not be a headache like Ducati…I like Ducati and would own one but I wouldn’t use it as a daily rider bike but Yamaha wins on this one.
