ഈ പാട്ടുകൾ കേൾക്കുമ്പോഴേ ഇത് ഒരു രാഗം based പാട്ടാണെന്ന് മനസ്സിലാകും. കുങ്കുമനിറ സൂര്യൻ, കൺകൾ ഇരണ്ടാൽ, ജീവാംശമായി ഒക്കെ ആ രാഗം അതേ പോലെ ഒപ്പി വച്ച പോലെ തോന്നും.
പക്ഷേ ഒന്നാം രാഗം പാടി, പിച്ചവെച്ച നാൾ മുതൽക്കു നീ എന്ന പാട്ടുകൾ ഈ രാഗമാണെങ്കിലും അതിന് മറ്റു ഗാനങ്ങൾക്കുള്ള ആ സാമ്യം തോന്നാറില്ല.

Pranathosmi is one of my favourite song based in that raga in Malayalam. Also pallavi of Sri Parvathi from rudrakshaam. Ravindran master has also done some interesting songs in this raga. Pudava kasavu njoriyum is a rare song in that. And the pallavi of Santhadham from aaraam thampuraan. and Also in Tamil there is a rare song of Ilayaraja called meettaadha oru veenai from the movie poonthottam. It's a very tricky song.

രീതിഗൗള ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നവർ നിർബന്ധമായും K G Jayan Sir (മനോജ് K ജയൻ്റെ അച്ഛൻ) ചെയ്ത പ്രണവം എന്ന ഭക്തിഗാന ആൽബത്തിലെ 'പ്രളയജലത്തിൻ മേൽ' എന്ന പാട്ട് കൂടെ കേട്ട് നോക്കണം.
